It’s where nature around you feels right and welcoming. NO Check-in/out on Saturday This is the cabin you’ve been looking for! Surrounded by over 200 acres of forest at an elevation of over 2600 ft,, picture yourself soaking in the hot tub under the covered porch listening to the serene sounds of the forest and distant waterfalls. Expect luxury amenities including a hot tub, walk-in stone shower with side-by-side shower heads, fireplace, and the finest Nordic Spruce logs imported straight from Norway. High ceilings, French doors, and skylights fill the cozy cabin with an abundance of natural sunlight. All of our cabins have beautiful forest views surrounded by the tranquil sounds of the distant waterfalls and when the leaves fall, the forest opens up further to gorgeous mountain views. *Both cabins have have the same amenities and furnishings. The only difference is the placement on the property. Ukiyo overlooks the field with a longer range mountain view (when the leaves fall) and Cynefin has a forest view and is more private. NOTE: Our Ukiyo cabin has a steep, fenced in field for dogs to stretch their legs in a safe place (not suitable for humans). There is a potty area just below our Cynefin cabin for those dogs. Our Courtyard / Mossy Oak Waterfall area is mulched and a beloved space for dogs to run and play in the creeks. Our 1/2 mile loop hiking trail is moderate with some steep sections.

Best Stay Ever!
By far the best place ever stayed. Perfect place for relaxation. The breakfast Chef was amazing (Megan) and the dinner by the waterfall was absolutely perfect with Chef Amber Highly recommend them both. The cabin is absolutely perfect and down to every feature and the shower incredible. The amount of care this place offered was 10 star for sure. Will be staying again. Dana and David are so nice and make this place the best place for relaxation.

Stay here!
What an outstanding stay! Dana has done a tremendous job making everything perfect- from the place itself (gorgeous) to the personalized touches. If you’re in the fence about staying here, do it!! You won’t regret it at all, and it’s beyond worth the price!

stellar stay
We absolutely loved our stay! Would stay again in a heartbeat. First & foremost, the attention to detail and the thoughtfulness Dana has for her guests is among the highest we've ever seen. Upon arrival, we enjoyed a chilled bottle of wine and read a handwritten note Dana had left for us. In the fridge, we found fresh farm eggs and a sack with bagels, butter, and cheese. We even found a pitcher of water infused with mint from the garden. There were so many more little gestures involved that I won't type out, but they all added up to a special experience. We love meeting hosts when possible, and although Dana typically leaves her guests to complete privacy, upon our request, she happily obliged us a short visit. Her passion for providing a unique experience is evident. She shared many small details about her cabin, like all of the gifted products (like eggs and handmade bar soap) being procured from local vendors! We especially loved all of the outdoor spaces provided. We initially planned to visit nearby Gorges State Park, but decided to stay put and enjoy the on-site, stream-side yoga platform, short hiking trail, hot tub, & more. We brainstormed potential improvements to be made, and had trouble coming up with even a short list: The spice jars on the fridge require some elbow grease! I think her site mentions the requirement of AWD/4WD vehicle? I could see that under poor weather conditions, but the gravel driveway seemed doable for 2WD. I'd message Dana to inquire.
