Lake Linda is a private 6 acre lake that's located on our family's 40 acre property. We are just 5 minutes from Surf City, Topsail Island, and 20 minutes from both Wilmington and Jacksonville. You'll often see ducks and geese on the lake. Lake Linda is a peaceful place, but conveniently located within a few minutes of food, entertainment, and of course some beautiful beaches. On the back half of the property, we also have a small family farm. Pasture raised pigs, chickens, cows, sheep, goats and we even a have a couple of turkeys! We sell farm fresh eggs as well as poultry, beef, and pork, all raised right here on our farm. Our pork & beef is USDA inspected and processed! We try to help our farm animals have a great life while they’re with us. We have two sites available by the lake! One site is on the corner of the lake by the dock. This lakeside site has a 30 amp service. This site does not have water or sewer, however we have 2 full bathrooms in our bathhouse, one even has a pet wash station! The bathhouse is only about 1000 feet away, and you’re welcome to walk or drive down to it! We can also help you fill your water tank and you’re welcome to dump in the full hook up site as long as there isn’t someone camping there. The second lake site has a beautiful view. This lake view site has 110 outlets as well as water. It does not have sewer hookup, but we have 2 full bathrooms in our bathhouse, one even has a pet wash station! The bathhouse is only about 1000 feet away, and you’re welcome to walk or drive down to it! You’re also welcome to dump in the full hook up site as long as there isn’t someone camping there. We also have 2 camper sites available on the farm, as well as a few tent sites. The farm is just a short walk from the lake, so no matter which you choose, you can enjoy the best of both! This is a working farm, we have cows, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, & turkeys! You’re welcome to meet & enjoy them! We even have a calf that was born here, and we have baby pigs regularly as well! We’ve also recently added a bath house, with two bathrooms. Both have stand up showers, and one even has a pet wash station! We have 2 gas grills on the property for your use as well! One is by the lake, the other is on the farm. We also place picnic tables at all sites before check in! It’s technically located in our front yard, but we have a very large yard, and we promise not to bother you! Continue reading to learn about our bathhouse and more! This is a great way to be close to nature and enjoy the peace and quiet! This is 1 of 3 full hook up sites available on the farm. One site is occupied by a long term rental. There are also 2 gas grills available for you to use! One grill is by the lake, the other is on the farm. This is a pull through site, so you don’t have to worry about backing in or out! We have a two bathroom bathhouse, which includes showers, and one even has a pet wash station. If you had rather not deal with the camper shower and toilet you’re welcome to use ours! This site is about 1000 feet from the lake, so you can still enjoy that as well! It’s a short drive to the beach but off the beaten path so plenty of room to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature.

Great Hosts and Fun Farm Experience

We stayed at Lake Linda’s Campground over Thanksgiving weekend for our very first family camping trip, and it was such a great experience. The hosts were friendly, proactive, and easy to get in touch with, even though they were also working the light show, hot chocolate hut and Santa photo op. These people do it ALL. Our site was easy to get in and out of, and the bathhouse was clean and well-kept, which we really appreciated as first-time campers. Waking up to the rooster and taking a family walk to see the farm animals was a huge hit with our 4-year-old. We live in Jacksonville but wanted a simple weekend getaway, and this was perfect. The campground is conveniently located near Lowe’s, Dollar Tree, Harris Teeter, and Bojangles, so anything we forgot was just a quick drive away. Thank you for having us!

This was our first Hip camp experience, and we enjoyed our stay! While the camp site isn't quite as secluded as I had imagined (both in proximity to the host house and the highway), the hosts were very responsive and attentive, and helped ensure we had all we needed to enjoy our stay. My son and I enjoyed the first night so much that I extended my stay and brought my daughter back for the second night. The kids both loved the animals, and the convenience to Topsail Beach (15 minutes away) is hard to beat. Thanks for a great weekend!

A Wonderful Place To Tent/RV Camp

It is a wonderful place to camp. Wake up and see the sunrise over the lake is breathtaking. Great to see all of the lovely animals on the farm, which you get to see as you walk to the bathhouse. You can see the traffic on the main highway as its lights go by. The very low noise from the traffic is no worry, as when you want to sleep (Day or Night), the host is always only a text away if you need anything. We will be going back. The store they have next to the bathhouse is great to get some food to cook.

We had a wonderful time staying at Michael's place! The location is perfect—it's incredibly peaceful and scenic with Lake Linda right there. The convenience was great. We appreciated the clean bathhouse and the thoughtful amenities like the gas grills and picnic tables. It was also a unique and fun experience to be so close to the family farm and see all the animals. If you're looking for a relaxing, well-located spot with some unique charm, this is it. Highly recommend!

The host was excellent, working with me to get the electric working and to settle into my spot. I slept well and loved being so close to the beach. You'll need to be okay with animals - some in fences, like the goats, and some walking around free, like the pigs. It was a bit "smelly", but not overwhelming. I wish the bathhouse had been better prepared for guests, but it was adequate. The place was an excellent example of a family farm that has lots of projects (raising animals for meat, chickens for eggs, and putting on a holiday event). Having a few RV slots is a bonus for them, and I was happy to contribute to their income.

Very welcoming and helpful hosts, it is on a working farm so there are lots of animals roaming about including goat, cows and some pigs and piglets. The lake is quite beautiful, they do a light show at Christmas, hate we didn't get to see it all lit up. Campsite power, sewer and water easily accessible and the presence of a bathroom directly adjacent to site you can skip hookup of sewer if you wanted. The animals were fun to see but there were some farm odors and bugs to contend with. If you aren't scared of a farm and have a can of OFF bug spray, no big deal at all. Great stay, excellent value. 30 min drive to center of Wilmington and just down the road to Topsail and Jacksonville.

Excellent for motorcycling camping

Decided on this Site to try my first motorcycle camping trip. Site overlooks Lake Linda and has a picnic table. Its very easy to get to AND the bonus is the Bojangles is a short walk away. 2 blocks max. Lots of wild life, I saw goats, geese and ducks. The site itself is flat and clean. I asked for and got a fire rings, no problem. Lots of retail in the area so I was able to make a run to the Lowes Home Improvement for my camp wood. The owners were nice and are part of a family farm. They even offered for me to put my bike under cover with the threat of rain. I would definitely go back. 20 Minutes to the nearby beaches and all the sites to see. Thank you!

This was an awesome location for our beach trip. We had our own area with no other campers close to us. The bathroom to use the shower was right next to us, so very convenient. It is a working farm so it was fun hearing the rooster in the morning. When M & T were out working on the farm the nosies didn’t bother us as it was off in the distance, it was entertainment for our cats. Leaving and coming home it was exciting to see the three little piggies running around and rooting for food on the ground. Wr also enjoy checking out the goats, lambs and cows. Topsail and Surf City offers some amazing beaches, dinner spots and attractions to keep your busy. Would definitely go back.

Very nice quiet spot, despite not being far off the main road! Directions were accurate and it was very easy to get in and out of. The spot by the pond gave us a beautiful view out our window. Only a short drive to the beach and close to other amenities! We had troubles with our tow vehicle upon arrival and our hosts were incredibly kind with helping us out! Would definitely stay again.

We had absolutely the best time staying at Lake Linda! We stayed for two days, wish we could’ve stayed longer! We showed up a couple hours after check-in because we were driving cross-country, but they were very understanding and accommodating! The bathhouse was superb, we had 3 people shower in there and get dressed comfortably. Really good plumbing, and they even had a big fan to combat the humidity from the shower. Our 2 year old had no problem getting all around the farm! Clean conditions for the animals which is always a wonderful thing to see, you can tell they take care of them and really love them! Our girl loved the geese and all of the ducks, which would come right up to us! Such a cool experience. It’s a quiet place, where you can relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but are just a short few-mile drive from the ocean! Thank you for opening your home to us! We will for sure be back 😎❤️ The hosts were incredibly sweet, southern hospitality is real! Will definitely be recommending this place to anyone I know wanting to make the drive!

Very Dog-Friendly, Perfect For Us!!

We loved Lake Linda's campsite. We were looking to take a spontaneous beach trip with our dogs and this place was perfect for that. Topsail Beach is dog-friendly during the summer season and it was only 15min away. The dog bathing station in the washroom was a huge plus for bathing our sandy dogs after a beach day. We also enjoyed walking around and meeting all of the farm animals. We will definitely be back again!

We loved the camp site. It was peaceful and secluded. Linda was a great host and took care of our needs if we needed. I would definitely recommend it. It’s not far from the beach. Everything is a short drive from the campsite. I will definitely be going back.

Full Hook Up Site #3 on the Farm!
We loved the site full hook up for our camper The most beautiful bath house we have ever seen. The hosts were so nice and helpful. The farm my wife fell in love with the animals that she left me setting up the rv alone. Ha ha this is a must place to stay. The host also have other stuff online while your booking the site. Thanks again Michael we appreciate your hospitality God bless you and the family.

This place is a gem, the farm animals were so cute, we even saw some piglets! There was going to be inclement weather for a couple of days of our stay and the host generously offered a space inside the barn if we needed to take cover. Very friendly and also gave us our space. 10/10; we will be back

Full Hook Up Site #3 on the Farm!
I think we are the 1st ones to stay at the full hookups spot on the farm. It didn't seem ready for guests. Stairs to the brand new bathhouse missing. The hook ups are kind of far from the parking spot...we used every single inch of water, power and extension and sewer house. The host was awesome and offered extensions as well but we had enough. They also offered to help us park. It was private and proximity to the animals was nice if you like farm animals. The new bathhouse had a dog washing station which was nice since we spent so much time at the beach. Location was great for beach access to topsail and surf city. For the price per night it seemed a little rough and unfinished. Perhaps given some time it would be very charming.

Awesome place for relaxation!

Lake Corner w/ 30amp Service ONLY
Mike and Tonia were great hosts! Our camping spot was perfect, right on the water's edge. The lawn was freshly cut and the lake's edge was trimmed down enough to be able to fish from the bank easily. The lake is clean and has lots of bass and bluegill. You can buy meats and eggs from them that come straight from their farm. I recommend getting the sausage and eggs for a great breakfast. We enjoyed taking our dog for a walk to see the farm animals. He also enjoyed the ducks and geese that would come up to our campsite. There is a clean bath house with 2 showers and 2 toilets. They also have a dog wash in one bathroom. The location is perfect, only 10 mins to the beach and Surf City Ocean Pier. There's a Bojangles within walking distance and lots of restaurants and groceries close by. This is truly a great place to unwind and relax!
