45 minutes from Charlotte and 35 minutes from Hickory…. Tent platform, with fire pit, chairs, and privacy screen included. With prior notice (at booking) camp toilet, hot tub, and other camp amenities are available with additional set up costs. If you’d like to learn backpacking tent set up and cook stove we have another site and can teach or rent tents out for that. Any extras must be arranged before arrival. Creek on property and beautiful wooded environment right off hwy 16.3 person tent on platform, Fire pit, Privacy screen, and camp table included. Parking right at site. Camp toilet in privacy tent set up by host upon request. All other amenities available for set up fees. Hot tub access (short walk) $15 Hot tub set up on site $25 Sauna Access (host heats for guest in advance of requested time) / shower tent included $15 Shower tent with five gallon bucket (cold water) $5 Shower tent access hot water (propane) $10 (short walk / 60 ft).

Off leash. Hwy 16 is at the end of our road so please don’t let your fur family off leash if they aren’t going to stay with you — we don’t want any sweet animals in the hwy. Also our family home is nearby. There are chickens, kids, and our two dogs. Our dogs will come out for exercise and potty. They are well trained and socialized and won’t come to your site unless invited please let us know if you have an aggressive dog so we can leash our pups.

Juniper 1: Base Camp
The place was difficult to find without bright headlights and we had a few technical difficulties but otherwise the place is a must stay, the ability to have a hot tub/shower/bathroom is amazing, while camping. Extremely nice host although we did not get to interact as we where getting to the campsite late every night.
