Secluded campsite with 4 RV spots, 3 electric and water, 1 water only (quiet generator allowed here) and 1 tent only site. All spots are waterfront, located on Core Sound. There is a dock to tie up your kayaks and paddle boards. Boats are welcome to park in our overflow parking area and a public boat ramp is 0.25 miles away. Take the Davis ferry to the beautiful beaches of Cape Lookout just a few minutes away! 3 sites with 30-amp power (sites 1, 2 and 3) we welcome generators at the other sites, so long as they are quiet. All with water hookups except tent site 5. One can also pitch your tent close to the water (site 5). Enjoy swimming in the sound, fishing, wind surfing, paddle boarding, kayaks and your canoes!!!! Enjoy it all and only share the space with 4 other sites. No waste dump on site. Core Creek Campground will allow you to dump for $39. 20 minutes from shops and restaurants of Beaufort and Morehead city. There is also a ferry to Ocracoke Island from Cedar Island, a peaceful 20-minute drive away. Really great access to a quiet and beautiful part of the outer (inner) banks. Everything you’d ever want to do at the beach is within 30 minutes and the sunrise on the sound is gorgeous. Be prepared for mosquitoes, especially at dusk. Recommend spray or a bug light. Carteret County is now spraying our site for mosquitoes! With Cape Lookout National seashore and Fort Macon State Park under 20 minutes from us, you also have tons of outer-bank activities to choose from.

Waterfront serenity!

The views were gorgeous and the land was secluded. Minus slight road noise, there really isn’t anything negative I could say about Sean’s land! I will definitely be keeping his place in mind for future weekend getaways!

This was a great, private, relaxing two nights for me. Plenty of room to fetch my dog and I kayaked right from the boat launch on the property. Gorgeous views!

We loved the site! There was plenty of room and all amenities worked as they should. We enjoyed the land but more importantly, we enjoyed our time! The icing on the cake was conversing with our neighbors and making friends! Oh, and we saw dolphins, crabs and a little otter!

Camping with View!

This spot was perfect! Right on the water, spot to dock your kayaks and super great scenery. We woke up looking at the bay with beautiful cranes and deer around us. Weather was perfect and we were able to go down to the dock and sit in the sun while fishing. We didn’t even leave the campground and had all we needed!

This was our second time staying here and it's conveniently located about 20 minutes from the ferry. It's very quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, the deerflies were plentiful and aggressive. After a couple of hours though, they left us alone. It would not stop us from staying there again.

What an awesome place! We enjoyed every minute. Sunset was our highlight. And the convenience of being 3 minutes from the ferry to Davis. Very responsive host. Would love to stay here again!

Really great spot. Would be good for a small group too. Nice breeze all night long. At first was concerned of possible road noise but really none at all. Proximity to Cape Lookout ferry is a plus. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

We had an amazing time. The sun rose right over the water, it was beautiful. Trash was closeby and gas station down the road. Stars were beautiful too - would highly recommend.

It’s going to be hard to beat this spot! What an experience, setting up a tent at the end of a narrow peninsula on the water. The wind was very strong, but that only added to it. I was at site 5, the tent only spot.

Site 3 was a lovely and peaceful place to spend a few days. There were nice sunsets and sun rises and marsh birds all around. The Hipcamp location was 30 minutes from a host of beaches and resturants. We very much enjoyed our stay.

What a fantastic, private place to stay. We enjoyed the privacy, extremely easy access to fishing and the beautiful scenery. We can’t wait to go back. We highly recommend booking this site. Sean was quick to respond to questions and great to chat with.

Absolutely perfect. Peaceful, secluded location off the beaten path, but a short (beautiful) drive to Emerald Isle and other island beaches. Campsite was everything you could possibly ask for. Amazing, can't wait to return.

We had a great stay at site number 2! Everything exceeded our expectations. This is an ideal place to stay if you are taking the ferry from Cedar Island to Ocracoke, as it's just about a half hour from the ferry. The spot is clean, level, quiet, and easy to access. We enjoyed the terrific sunrise the wildlife and the beautiful surroundings. Don't hesitate. This is a great place to stay. We hope come come back again soon.
