Come and enjoy peace and serenity in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. A stargazers dream, as the sky possesses no light pollution, thousands of stars can be seen atop the tree tops while listening to the wildlife sing natures song. A true premium site featuring all the luxuries of modern campgrounds, while maintaining a private and remote experience, that so many desire. A rare gem in today’s society and one that has to be experienced to truly appreciate the awe and wonder Mother Nature has to share. A breathtaking and revitalizing take on the phrase “campsite”! Stone Mountain State Park and New River State Park are minutes away. The Cedar Ridge and Flat Rock Ridge Trailheads are 5 minutes from the site which lead to the Basin Creek Trail, part of Doughton Recreation Area. There are several wineries in the area, including Roaring River Vineyards within 15 minutes. This area is also home to the Blue Ridge Parkway, a short 20 minute drive. Wilkesboro, Sparta, and Elkin are within 30-40 minutes and offer lots of excellent restaurants, breweries, and fun things to explore. Several local golf courses are close by. Boone and Blowing Rock are about an hour from this location. You’ll find plenty to do or simply enjoy disconnecting from the world and reconnecting with nature! Cell service is non-existent at the site but available at the main entrance. Wi-Fi is available for an additional charge; hi-speed and reliable for streaming and/or working remote.RV 1 site is a gravel pad designed to fit rigs 40ft and under (this does not include the tow vehicle). Full hookups with 50 amp and 30 amp options. This is a pull through site. Please refrain from moving, or driving behind, the landscape lighting on the back of the site as this is marking the line to avoid damage to the drainage system in place. Please do not allow dogs to dig and pick up after your pets to ensure a clean area for all guests. Firewood is provided but additional wood can be purchased. Cell service is non-existent at the site but available at the main entrance. Wi-Fi is available for an additional charge; hi-speed and reliable for streaming and/or working remote. Rules do pertain to this site and have been kept minimal for the benefit of everyone. However, in the event that rules, or laws, are broken, in any capacity, we will cancel your reservation immediately with no refunds given. This location is private and peaceful and it is the expectation this will be maintained and respected. Max guests listed is for 6 people; if you have a larger party please contact me to discuss as special arrangements can be made.

On leash. Off leash permission granted for trained dogs with recall. This is a private location but other residents reside in the area. Wildlife is prominent in this area and trespassing is not allowed to recoup a lost pet that has run off. Please keep this in mind.

Spigot. A pressure regulator is required to be used. This site is on a well please be mindful of water usage.

Trash bin. The bin is for storage of trash during your stay to keep wild animals away. Please take all trash with you upon leaving.

We had a great experience at this private, single campsite. The layout of the site with full hookups was perfect for our 35ft toy hauler trailer. It's a short drive to Stone Mtn St park for some hiking/fishing. We plan to come again!

We loved our time at this campsite! So much privacy, allowing us to truly unplug for the weekend. This was a stunning piece of property and was easy to find. Definitely plan on coming back!

Perfect Peaceful Getaway

40 ft travel trailer

If you’re looking for the perfect peaceful getaway, this is the one. Surrounded by nature, no road noise only the birds singing. Large spacious site with full hookups. Only a short drive to Stone Mountain for hiking trails and scenic views. If you’re wanting to stream tv or music, I encourage purchasing the WiFi addition as cell service is zero… which is not a bad thing. This is by far our favorite HipCamp site. We thank our gracious hosts for sharing this special spot with us. We look forward to our next visit.

This is a great spot for the family with full hookups and privacy. Plenty of hiking trails being close to Stone Mtn. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back!
