Welcome to Buck Creek RV Park, tucked away in the city of Marion, North Carolina, and surrounded by acres of sprawling greenery and burbling streams. Here, we invite you to explore an outdoor expanse unlike any you’ve ever seen, complete with waterfalls, hiking paths, and fun for the entire family. If you’re a new visitor to the area, we’re happy you found your way to us. If you’re a long-time veteran of the park, or you’re simply passing by on your way to Pisgah Forest, Asheville NC, Linville NC, and the scenic Linville Falls, it’s great to have you back. As a premier resting station, Buck Creek RV Park is all about creating a tight-knit community feel amidst what we feel to be the most stunning natural campground in the nation. Now, let’s get down to the details: our 74 RV sites are currently sprawled across 48 acres of land, with a half-mile frontage set along a beautiful mountain stream. The setting is spacious and peaceful, and many of our customers come from all over the state and country to see what Marion, NC, is truly about. We’re also conveniently located in the Western part of our great state, which means we’re just a stone’s throw away from the legendary Pisgah and Cherokee National Forests. In terms of cities, we’re currently only about a 45-minute drive from Asheville or Linville, and a 1-hour drive from Boone and Hickory. It’s our prime location and offerings that make us a one-of-a-kind destination, and Buck Creek RV Park has already become a well-known fixture around these parts. So, if you’re an outdoor enthusiast, it’s safe to say this is the place for you. Just bring your toy haulers and motorcycles, and experience some of the best roads in the nation, including the Diamondback Loop. Oh, and strap on those hiking shoes. From Mount Mitchell and Linville Falls, to the Pisgah and Cherokee National Forests, there are more than enough opportunities for next-level climbing and fun. Not to mention the fact we have seven other waterfalls in the area

Vehicle site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 43 ft
All of these spots back right up to the water where guests can experience a view of the stream. Enjoy a cup of coffee at your picnic table while listening to the sounds of Buck Creek before you start the day or just spend the day napping in your chair while the gurgling of the stream puts you to sleep. All of these spots feature full-hook-up service as well as cable tv. For those that are looking for creek access from spot choose sites 2-5 closer to office. For guests not as concerned with direct access to stream consider a spot further up in park where you will find even more shade and will still be able to enjoy the sound and views.

Waterfront Back In - No Cable

100%
(1)
Vehicle site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 45 ft
If you have had a long week and you are looking to get disconnected and unwind by the stream then these spaces may be for you. They all are full-hook ups with 50 amps but do not have cable. They are located toward the middle upper end of park and feature shade in the spots as well. These spots do not have water access due to steep bank at rear of site although it allows for some amazing views and calming sounds of the stream. When you cant resist the urge of the clear water no longer then enjoy a short walk to swimming hole 2 so you can relax and cool off.

Looking to relax in the shade while enjoying cable tv and not being far from access to stream then look no further. These spots may not be directly on the water but they are very conveniently located and are in the shade. Site 22 is located right across from swimming hole 1 access and has a good view from front of site looking out across meadow and will accomodate medium sized rigs that dont require 50 amp. Site 25 is hid out a little ways off of main road behind shower house. This spot can be tricky to back in to but can be very rewarding as awning faces towards the stream. Although not located directly on water you can see the creek from the site and can walk to swimming hole 1 in a matter of seconds. Suited for smaller rigs. (<24' 30 amp only) Site 26 may not be on stream but is not lacking in space and convenience. This is a very large back in space featuring a nice oak tree for shade. It has 50 amps and is ready for your larger fifth wheels. This spot does not work great for medium to large mhs or really long travel trailers due to being low in rear of site.
