Welcome to 3Feather Sanctuary, tucked away amidst our more-than 16 acre beautiful property. This is the perfect peaceful getaway near great outdoor activities and some of the best that North Carolina has to offer! 3Feather Sanctuary is surrounded by beautiful, stately trees and has a creek meandering through it. The closest town is Hot Springs, which is 20 minutes away and the Hot Springs are a definite must-see if that peaks your interest! The town itself is also pretty cool. There are some good shops, restaurants & our favorite hardware store!! Downtown Marshall is also close, about 25 minutes and has a lot to offer! Gr8 restaurants, thrifting and cute shops along the river. Our property is about an hour away from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the adorable city of Asheville - which makes for a fantastic day trip with delicious restaurants, breweries, cool shops, and more! The Great Smokey Mountains and Deep Creek are about 1.5 hours away from the campsite. The Appalachian Trail is closeby and there are countless opportunities for stunning hikes. There's also kayaking, tubing, white water rafting opportunities as well as zip lining and horseback riding. There is something for everyone to enjoy and we can't wait to share it with you!

***Tipi is only available during the summer season for now*** Step into the magical Tipi. Our authentic Sioux-style tipi was handcrafted by a small group of artisans in Bend, Oregon. Gaze up to view the lodgepole pine tipi poles as they interweave each other to hold up the organic canvas hand painted by a Native American person. Mixing the vintage with the modern; Relax on the Queen sized pillow top bed adorned with organic cotton sheets & finished with a vintage appliqué quilt, enjoy the flat screen tv hooked up for ur streaming convenience utilizing our fiber wifi. Enjoy the cool mountain air or turn on the air conditioner if needed. Listen to the sounds of the waterfall and meandering creek located beside the tipi. Sit outside and sip fresh brewed coffee from your private coffee maker. 3Feather Sanctuary is surrounded by beautiful, stately trees and is located on a creek. Building the road, carving out RV spots, and completing the common grounds and bathhouse over the last couple of years has been an amazing journey. Added a glamping Tipi this summer! Sharing this space and getting ready for the next phase - creating a stage for hosting music festivals - will fulfill our dream! Depending on the season we, your hosts, may or may not be on site. However, we are happy to help out via Hipcamp messages if we are not on the property! We hope you enjoy listening to the sounds of the creek and waterfall in the mountains as much as we do!

Firseside spot is the premier owners spot. Perfectly Located; the spot sits terraced above the large fire-pit, which sits above the waterfall and overlooking the swimming hole. Also, resides inline with the valley offering beautiful views between the trees. This spot has full hook-ups w/ 30 amp electric, water and sewer hook-up.

Park your camper, bus, van or RV on our property and set up camp at the the perfect spot for you on our 16 acres! The Getaway spot is a partial hook-up spot that can accommodate up to 35’ w/ 2 slides & has 30 amp electrical and water. There is no sewer hook-up, but we do have a dump out. Features a wonderful private clover grass area that has a nice shade tree along with a private fire pit. This spot is close to the front and the road, but it is a country road.

This spot is located beside the creek and has NO hookups. Perfect for van, camping, truck, camping, bus, camping or camper/RV camping that is totally self sufficient or has solar power or propane to run your fridge and heat and/or a/c. No extension cords to be run to camper and no generators. We do have a spot for you to fill your water tank and we have a dump out. Of course you still have access to all the other amenities CommonGround/bathhouse and Wi-Fi.

This is a tent site. Walk across the creek on the handmade, but sturdy foot bridge, up the handcrafted stone edge stairs to your private primative campsite. Pea rock keeps the site dry kept in place by skinned logs felled from our property. Private firepit sitting area. Along side a Big Rock wall-hence the site name. Enjoy! Please make sure to park in the proper place and do not block the driveway.

Off season only premier semi off grid spot. This is the sacred river pebble base that the seasonal Tipi rests on. The pea rock Parking spot will work for Van camping, truck camping or small camper that doesn't need hookups. The river pebble may be cool for large tents, NOT for vehicles. Situated in the bend of the creek and beside the beach, The Metis site is utilized when the Tipi is down. No private firepit. Easy access to the common ground/bathhouse. Located way out in the country- closer to Hot Springs, but on a state maintained asphalt road. Listen to the harmony of the rushing water. Be 1 w/ nature. Enjoy the fiber wifi.

This is truly a one hidden gem of many in the hollers of the mountain but... this one has wifi a kitchen showers a bathroom and a beautiful creek running right down the middle. Would recommend this place to anyone that loves the outdoors and quiet!

Big Rock campsite

Really cute and affordable! Our kids loved it and it was nice to have real camping while having some amenities and being close to stores and restaurants. Will definitely go again. They where super responsive for everything we needed too.

Little slice of HEAVEN!! We had such an amazing time at the 3Feathers Camp! Laura and Chris were wonderful host and the property was beautiful and had all the amenities you could need for a comfortable camping experience. They have a very clean bathroom and shower facility. Washer and dryer if you need it and a communal fridge. They provide you with all the firewood you need too! We camped with my 14 year old and he absolutely loved it. There is a nice creek running through the property that lead to a cool swimming hole you can cool off in and even though it was in the 90’s the mountain where the camp is stays well shaded and cool during the summer heat. If you are looking to disconnect from the world and reconnect to nature this is a wonderful spot for you and your family! We will definitely be back and recommend this campsite to everyone. They are also conveniently located to Asheville and cool spots in Tennessee you can visit and don’t skip on Laurel Creek right around the corner!

We ABSOLUTELY love our stay! The land was beautiful and peaceful, and the hosts were amazing! Our trip in and first night kind of fell into Murphy's Law territory, but the serenity and good vibes that the land and Laura exuded when we arrived helped wipe all stress and frustration away! Laura and Chris were so kind and helpful the entire time. They were so pleasant to chat with, they interacted with our kids, but they also allowed us our space. It was so wonderful! We will be back as soon as we can. It was so marvelous, educational, and relaxing!

Off Grid van/bus/truck/rv camp spot

Amazing little oasis close to Hot Springs, Asheville, and trails. It has everything - a swimming hole, bathroom, kitchen, plenty of outdoor hangout spots, and even WiFi. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating, and just really cool humans. I enjoyed staying there and the WiFi was good enough to work remotely. Perfect little spot to camp!
