Poppy's Cabin on Pond
This is truly an amazing space. Offers multiple places to stay depending on your likes and dislikes. It’s relatively remote, however very peaceful surroundings. Made use of the water activities as well as visited many nearby towns. What a gracious hostess.

Site 2 - Charming Camping
Very nice campsite on a property that is also a wedding venue. Multiple ponds and nice grassy area. Campsite was secluded amongst trees and felt private even though there were others camping around us. Clean portapotty and nice shower facility. Campsite has fire ring and picnic table. We bought fire wood, bags of ice, and a dozen farm fresh eggs from the owners and there were very responsive with delivering them once we arrived. About 20-30 mins from Watkins Glen, Seneca and Keuka lake, and a ton of wineries. Highly recommend!

We had a good experience camping here. The hosts gave us clear directions. The stargazing was amazing. There was some farm work being done in the morning to help kick us into gear and start the day. It's a meadow on top of a hill, so we caught a LOT of wind. Definitely advised to use your stakes and guylines. It's a gorgeous site and the hosts are very kind.

This place was awesome! Only a few minutes from a main road, you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Great tent site (past the big cabin). Clean facilities, and a refreshing shower. Make sure to visit Ranch 226 for all of your supplies. Great firewood!

Great location and communication from the host. Nice kayaks/canoes available to use if wanted. The showers and porta John were well maintained and clean.

Destiny was very responsive. The location is easy to find, grassy well kept grounds, large sites and awesome hot shower.
It’s like a bird sanctuary. They have all they need and so will you!

Doesn’t get better than this! Private and well kept. Destinys husband (forgot his name) was very personable. We had access to the ponds. My 2 young boys (4 & 9) loved it. There were kayaks, a canoe and a peddle boat. The boys enjoyed peddling the boat. Met their dogs. Extremely friendly and great with kids. Kept the kids entertained while we set up camp lol. Porta John was the cleanest one I’ve ever been in and had an awesome shower set up. Always nice after a few days of camping. I could go on and on….

What a great spot.
My son and I camped there for a week and it was amazing.
Very private, beautiful property meticulously maintained with ponds and a forrest near great fishing and walking trails in the Finger Lakes.
Our hosts were accommodating, friendly and kind.
We will go back for sure.
A fantastic experience from start to finish.

Cozy Camper in Finger Lakes Region

We loved Destiny's camping sites! We were in a hill and had a very quiet and restful stay. The sites are very nice and well maintained. Weather was awesome and the clear night sky was a plus! The kids loved the feeling of being "isolated" and free for few days. Thank you so much!

Peaceful setting and my granddaughter s loved the paddle boat and kayaks! The cabin was clean and nice to have picnic table outside to enjoy eating outside near firepit. We could feel breeze a little at night and lanterns were helpful. Maybe a fan would improve air circulation at night? Thanks for the fun!

Poppy's Cabin on Pond
The beauty of the property was so incredibly serene. We loved the coziness of the cabin, the beds were so comfortable and the sounds of the frogs and birds and waking to campfire coffee. The moss garden by the edge of the forest felt incredible on our bare feet. We loved the added amenity of a hot shower, so we’ll done. You can tell the stewards of this land work very hard to care for it all. The walks through forest trails and seeing incredible trees, total peace. Thank you for sharing this land with my family, it made for a fantastic, unplugged family get away.

Hot water is very much appreciated. We bought additional firewood, charcoal and lighter fluid from them and it was given to us promptly which is convenient. Overall a very good experience.

Absolutely friendly and a clean campground. Each camp site was big enough and not too close to the others. Showers and bathrooms were very well kept and were extremely clean. I would definitely recommend this camp site and will be back in the future .

We had a great stay with Destiny and Ray. They were very responsive. Cell service is spotty so just keep that in mind. If you walk around you might get some signal and that was just enough for me to communicate with Destiny.
Some things to note - they have weddings on their property and there happened to be one during our first night there. The DJ went until 10pm and the music was definitely audible from our site. I would check with the hosts before booking to see if there's a wedding during your stay.
The two sites closest to the ponds are very close to each other. If you're booking with a friend, I think sites 1 and 2 would be great. For us, it would've been too close to another party. Luckily no one else booked during the time we stayed there so we had the place to ourselves.
The outdoor shower is GREAT. It's so nice to have a hot shower while camping. The portapotty was the cleanest I've ever used.
Overall, the property is amazing and we wish we had more time to explore all the trails that Ray mentioned are on their 100 acre property. The grass was well maintained and the ponds are beautiful. We even got to feed the bass.

Cozy Camper in Finger Lakes Region
Our stay was very pleasant! We would very much enjoy coming here again.
Host: Destiny and Ray are wonderful hosts, very friendly. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable and were easily accessible via telephone.
Camper: The camper is a trailer with slide outs. There is a bedroom with a queen bed, the living space has a sofa bed. There is a stove/oven and a fridge. There is no water in the trailer. We were able to cook and bake with no issues. There is a grill on the deck that we used a lot. The trailer was spotless and very comfortable.
Facilities: There is a shower house not too far from the camper. The hot water was great! There is a port-o-potty that was very clean with very little odor.
Property: The views from the camper are stellar (particularly at night, the star scape is spectacular!). It was relaxing to sit on the deck and watch the skies. There is lots of terrain to roam. The property is very close to several state forests and their excellent hiking trails. Hammondsport (Keuka Lake) and Watkins Glen (Seneca Lake) are short drives away and are great for day trips. Many eating options and wineries in the surrounding area.
I would highly recommend staying here!

The cabin was very clean and cozy! Destiny and her husband were very helpful and they gave us a ton of wood for the $5 fee. It wasn't quite as secluded as we would have preferred, but all of the amenities were very much appreciated.

Campsites were very private and well maintained. The Shower and Toilet facility was very clean and conveniently located . Our host was very accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend camping here. The location is great the night skies were beautiful , I even spotted a shooting star !

We had a great stay in the rustic cabin. Everything was very clean in the cabin, porta-potty and outdoor hot shower. We enjoyed using the kayaks and canoe and relaxed by the fire every evening listening to the bull frogs. So private, peaceful and relaxing!

We enjoyed our stay at the farm as it provided a good base for exploring the Southern Finger Lakes region (45 min or less from Watkins Glen, Penn Yan, Corning, Hammondsport, etc). The campsite was all grass and plenty of flat area to set up our tent. Firepit was plenty big enough to have a warm fire on a cool weekend. Bathroom was clean, and while we didn’t use the showers during our visit, appreciated they were there if we needed. It was much appreciated that we were met upon arrival because likely would have gotten lost and set up camp at the wrong spot (there are many fire pits set up for when they have weddings).

The hosts were very receptive and the campsite was beautiful in the fall. They drove out to help us find out site because it was dark by the time we got there and were super accommodating. The porta pottys were super clean. We saw a flock of turkey approach the campsite. There weren't any other tent campers but it would have been nice and private if there had been. It was a great experience!
