We loved staying at James’ cabin. It was perfect for the for the five of us. We all enjoyed going down to the lake for swimming and fishing. The land is beautiful maintained and cared for. We would love to go back again.

The place was very clean and homey. The wood stove kept us very warm at night. The area surrounding the cabin is gorgeous and very well kept. James is an excellent host and always responded quickly when messaged. I will definitely be coming back to enjoy this serene place in the future.

Awesome spot for primitive tent camping, reminded us of camping in the ADK! Remote, private location, great view of the lake. James was wonderful to deal with, would definitely go again!

We loved our stay at James land! We were the only campers at the site and could enjoy the lake the next morning, after a great deal of rain the day before. We parked the heavy campervan on the road as we were afraid of getting stuck, and this was no problem. We felt we had a private lake, boats, and dock. The views were stunning and being on the water with the boats super fun! Definitely recommend!!

We loved this site. It was beautiful, isolated and quiet. The site had a perfect level tent site, picnic table and large stone fire circle. There’s potable water and firewood at the entrance. Short walk (100yds?) from car to site. Another short walk to the dock where we watched the stars at night and swam during the day. A perfect weekend!!

Second time staying at James' property and this time I took my son. Everything was perfect and James was a great host. My son loved borrowing the paddleboat and going around the lake. The campsite that we had was in the middle of blueberry bushes, which was awesome. We'll for sure be recommending the property to others.

James is a great host and Camp Cinnamon was exactly what I was looking for! There are several sites on the property, but only one rented at a time, so you get to choose what's right for you. I needed a quiet place to stay for one night, and that's exactly what I got. There's a lot of bird activity by the lake early in the morning, but it's not very obtrusive.
James does have a cabin up the hill from the campsites, and there was a family starting in it while I was there. Fortunately, they went inside before dark, but noisy guests in the cabin are close enough that they could keep you awake

James’ Lake Cinnamon site was an absolute dream! We spent two amazing days there hiking, swimming, and trying out the areas best food. James was so kind to escort us to his camp site where everything was so beautifully set up and secluded! We can’t wait to book in the fall on his beautiful and serene place! We loved camping at camp Cinnamon. All three camp sites are close to the pond, which offers beautiful views, fishing, swimming and canoeing. Lots of birds if you like birdwatching. And we saw beavers! On a rainy morning we went to the Corning Museum of Glass Unfortunately - just 20 min drive. James was hospitable and quick to respond even with spotty signal. And there were fireworks for the 4th of July!!! We would definitely come back! Thanks!

This place was absolutely gorgeous. It was so quiet and peaceful. There was so much wildlife and such tranquility. The campsite was super private and waking up steps away from kayaks and the lake was really amazing. James and his daughter were really great too. Absolutely nothing that you could complain about.

The property is just magical, with camping right along the edge of the small lake, great fishing, peaceful and scenic, with Watkins Glen just 15 min away, a little piece of heaven for sure.

We loved spending the weekend at Camp Cinnamon. We swam, crossed in the paddle boat and really enjoyed the stars at night. It's perfectly located between Watkins Glen and Corning. The area is very well maintained and James was great to work with. I didn't realize it is a tent only facility when I booked it but he was kind enough to let us stay with our pop up.

The area was beautiful. We did have to hike in a little to our campsite but we were able to camp right by the water. The stars at night were magical and we enjoyed a dip in the pond before heading out the next day.

Great sites in fantastic location! We were 2 families on adjoining sites, with 3 girls ages 9-11. Although we had some unexpected rain first night and chilly weather for June, we had a fabulous time! Kids loved exploring area, hiking Watkins Glen (20min away), and swimming in the lake. We caught a nice large mouth bass that we fried up for dinner one night. Great time also hanging out by fire and roasting s’mores. Really quiet (except bullfrog and geese!) and secluded. Would definitely come again.

Great fishing as always(bass/pickerel) from the banks or in canoes. James is attentive and quick to respond to any requests. This location has several tent location options as well as cabin. Great place to get away from it all and short drive to Watkins Glen, NY to hike the falls, see Lake Seneca or get lunch/dinner in town.

I chose James' land for my first solo tenting trip and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The scenery is absolutely stunning and the campsite was huge. By far the nicest tent campsite I've ever stayed at. I was literally a stone's throw from the lake, in a clearing surrounded by flowering bushes. There was MORE than enough room for all of my gear to be spread out into different living areas (tent space, hammock space, "kitchen", "bathroom"). James was a delight and extremely helpful when it came to getting firewood and renting one of his kayaks. Please be aware that there is a bit of a (sometimes muddy) sloped trail that you need to take to get from the parking area to the site. It's downhill to the camp and uphill back to the cars...my collapsible dolly was a massive help and next time, I plan on bringing an all terrain wagon. YES, this place is worth buying specific gear for! lol Also, my Verizon phone didn't get signal at the site, but in the parking area I got a bit.

James is an excellent host, and he let us choose our campsite from several that were available. His property is very beautiful, and has a ton of frogs and beaver dams. The campsite was spacious with plenty of privacy to enjoy the natural beauty around. We would highly recommend!

Very nice property overlooking the lake! I went early in the season in mid March and got stuck in the snow on the way in, but James is a super nice guy and was able to pull me out. There are a few sites to choose from but they seem spaced out enough to feel separate if there are other campers.

Camp Cinnamon was very nice! 3 beautiful & private tent sites set on the edge of the lake. Lake has a dock and swim step nice for swimming and fishing. You have to haul your camp gear down the hill about 200 yards. If you don’t want to pack it in there’s a beautiful Sunny meadow to camp in! . We would return again. Thanks James for all your help and offering such a nice place to camp.

Very scenic and secluded place. Perfect if you want some privacy and quite. The lake is beautiful to look at. You can swim too but the water is not that clear. Host is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place!!
