Directions to the property were clear. It was well maintained. Everything was as listed. I had ordered some eggs and pecans and they were on site when I arrived. The eggs were great for breakfast.
Oh, and I liked the bench tree swing.😃

Easy to get to and close to amenities. Very clean, quiet, great set up. One could use this as a spot to call home and get to Carlsbad Caverns, White Sands, Smokey Bear Museum and other attractions near by. Will recommend to anyone heading down to the area. I will stop there again in the future.

Beautiful quiet RV spot. Very clean and cozy. It was decorated for the 4th of July. Had a swing and fire pit. All utilities worked. Easy communication with Martha. Dog friendly and even had doggie bags. Green grass and picnic table. Close to our route. Easy in and out. Definitely recommend this place.

Lovely place to camp

The entire site was welcoming, charming and private. The area was very private. Cute swing at the tree over looking the cement pad with picnic table and a fire pit!
We woke up to the sound of birds chirping, peacock honking (lol) and à rooster in the far distancie. Wish we had more time to spend on site but we had to vroom vroom to our next destinación.
The infrastructure was impressive for being a private camp site.
Cement pad, Electrical connection, water and septic.
Lots of thought and care went into servicing thr tent, car or RV camper.

A peaceful camp over!

Martha is amazing and a hard worker. We’ve been driving for 2 straight nights and saw her place and reserved her beautiful peaceful spot. We forgot to ask for early check in because of tow mode brain fog!😳 She was very accommodating and thank goodness no one was there because we just showed up…First time using HipCamper and didn’t pay attention to check in time…. Thanks Martha for understanding our situation. Highly recommend!

Really cute area for camping. I loved that we had our own private area, away from the main house, with picnic table, grassy area and even a tree swing. Very easy parking for our 13 ft Scamp with electric.

Wonderful stopover with solitude.

Second time staying on my way through the area and really appreciate the solitude and space for the pups to run whilst I take a break from the road for a few days very convenient to Roswell if one want to explore the eclectic side of things or even the outdoors offerings in the area. Having power, dump, and water is an added benefit 🤙

Peaceful oasis

At first hearing me talk about Desert Rose Stopover, my husband was skeptical, but he fell in love after realizing how private and peaceful it was. The septic connection and fenced property were the clincher for him. We extended our 1 night into 2. Extras like the swing and dog bags were very thoughtful. The dogs loved being off leash and exploring the yard. There are definitely goat heads to contend with, but we were forewarned.
Directions given by Martha were easy and spot on. Communication was prompt and courteous. Thank you for a wonderful site, Martha!

I liked it so much I extended my stay. It is a private campsite, well-designed, with all services. I liked that my dog was safe and didn't have to be on a leash. Very quiet and as a solo female camper, I felt very safe. Easy drive to Roswell, Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge, and Bottomless Lakes State Park

I loved camping on Martha’s land. The full hook-ups were convenient. Additionally, the off-leash area for our dog enabled her to run off a lot of energy. The sunset was amazing, too. We will definitely stay there again if Martha will have us.

A true Hidden Gem!

This Hipcamp is truly, the definition of a hidden gem. Extremely private, extremely safe, and extremely beautiful. Host was excellent and highly recommend anyone coming to the Roswell area, definitely stay here!
