This is the 5th or 6th time I've stayed here - that likely says it all - I like this hipcamp very much - it's private (the owner says hi, but then leaves you on your own), he provides wood for campfire, there is a water spigot, a picnic table. The site I reserve has these things, and I believe another site has electric as well, but I haven't needed that one. It's peaceful, scenic, private - and the owner is communicative, their home is in sight, but not close enough to change the nice privacy. All these things make a great hipcamp. I travel twice a year to and from Maine and Georgia, with 2 dogs, and stay there every time. Highly recommend.

What a perfect little spot! After biking around the area most of the day, this was the ideal spot to rest. Tom and MaryAnn were very accommodating and did a great job making sure the camper had all the essentials. While I didn't get to make a fire, Tom did offer free wood, which is rare on Hipcamp. The location is excellent and is not far from cute little towns like Frenchtown and Flemington. Would love to visit again and explore the area more.

So Cute

One of my favorite stays on HipCamp. The camper is adorable and filled with cute details. Had everything we needed for cooking inside the camper, as well as wood, tools, and a grate for cooking outside. No complaints!

This property was very sweet. Tom and MaryAnn were so helpful and kind. Although you are near the road and not far from their house, once we put our twinkle lights up we were transported into a perfect camping spot and didn’t even remember we were near civilization. Lots of bird activity, which we love. Would definitely come back when we need a quick escape from the city!

Tom and Maryann were both super helpful and made us feel very welcomed and safe! Tom brought us over to our sight and told us to help ourselves to firewood and even brought us kindling to help start our fire! We had such a good and quiet time on their beautiful piece of land! I highly recommend!

Peaceful Getaway

This was a fantastic experience. The site itself was private (no other campers) and the host were gracious in meeting us and getting us set up, but we didn’t see them again until we left. It was the perfect getaway for my husband and I in a nice shaded wooded site but with a field right next to us that gave our dog a chance to stretch her legs running for the ball. The added amenities, electric, water (which we didn’t end up using since our little RV had a large enough fresh water tank), and firewood provided made our time even better. This was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The host thought of everything and we definitely plan on coming back!

Five stars, perfect and peaceful

This was absolutely perfect for our needs. We are fairly new to RVing, and travel with 3 very neurotic, reactive, LOUD rescues, who bark at every noise and movement. We were so thrilled to find out we had the whole place to ourselves. We’ve been to some nice campgrounds but were never able to have the kind of peace we did this weekend, because there was almost nothing for them to bark at. We pretty much spent the weekend sitting outside, grilling, making fires, and watching birds and other nature. (The ticks were relentless, so be careful and vigilant.) Our site had everything we needed-picnic table, Adirondack chairs, nice fire pit, and was also completely shaded. You could occasionally hear some road noise but we still felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. We thought it might be strange just camping on someone’s private property, but their house was far enough away and semi-blocked by trees, so it still felt very private, our own little campground. Tom was very kind and helpful. We unfortunately got there a little late and right after severe storms, but he still helped us in the mud and darkness. Mary Ann quickly responds to all messages. No problems with electrical or water hookups. (No dump station on site, but you can pay to use facilities at local sites) We paid a lot more at other campgrounds and did not enjoy our time as much as we did here. Will definitely return.

2 Nights in June

Mary Ann was very helpful when I had trouble setting my dates online. She walked me through how to make, and later to change our reservation. The owners had to leave town before we arrived, but they had everything set up for us before they left . There were torrential rains for a few days, and it was pouring when we arrived. We had no trouble getting our class A to the campsite, but the ground was very muddy and I had some trouble maneuvering the RV. Tom and Mary Ann came home the next day, and Tom provided planks and labor to help me get our camper up and put. The setting is beautiful, with deer and squirrels and chipmunks all around. I highly recommend this site and the owners. They were wonderful.

🌸 The Cutest Getaway in Nature! 🌸

My husband, our 1-year-old daughter, and I had the most peaceful and adorable stay at the Serenity pink camper! From the moment we arrived, it felt like we’d stepped into a storybook—everything was pink, cozy, and full of charm. 💕 The camper itself was clean and oh-so-cute. They even had the sweetest camper mugs that made morning coffee feel extra special. We made pasta on the working stove (yes, full pasta night in the woods!) and grilled burgers on the little charcoal grill, which worked perfectly. We lit a fire in the fire pit and cuddled up nearby. Our daughter absolutely loved it—she was running around barefoot on the grass, giggling, and totally in her element. She found a frog, a ladybug, butterflies, ants, and was just so happy exploring and playing with sticks. She was completely in love with nature—it was beautiful to watch. 🌿🦋🐸 The owners were very communicative and kind, which made everything even more enjoyable and stress-free. Tip: don’t forget to bring bug repellent! You're surrounded by nature, and the bugs definitely like to say hello. This was the perfect escape from the city hustle. So peaceful, so cute, and filled with small joys. 💖

Excellent Hipcamp

I love Tom and MaryAnn’s Hipcamp, where I have now stayed several times. Since retiring, I spend summers in Maine and on my way up in the summer, and back south in the fall, I go their Hipcamp. It is private, scenic, and they are kind and responsive. I e been at hipcamps where the owners don’t even answer, so this stands out. This time, I had trouble with the spigot, and he came to check right away (my fault!). Important to me, there aren’t other campers, which is important with two sweet but reactive doggies. There are some bugs when camping in the summer, but that’s true anywhere this time of year. I highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Adorable Retro Camper

Tom and MaryAnn were very friendly and helpful. Their property is beautiful and their camper has been very well maintained. We enjoyed the rural setting while still being close enough to get supplies as needed. One thing to be aware of, which is completely beyond their control, is how many ticks there are. My boyfriend and I both grew up in rural areas and are avid outdoors people but we were both surprised at the sheer quantity of ticks nearby. Campers should be vigilant about knowing what they look like as well as how to safely remove and kill them. Overall we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this spot to anyone wanting a convenient getaway to the country.

Private, scenic and lovely

I loved my stay. It’s a comfortable site, far enough from the house to be very private. They provided wood* and water (through hose). Everything was as promised, and I was so happy. I’m a repeat visitor! This time, could t use the wood, as there was a ban on fires due to drought. Nevertheless, I was at the site with a picnic table, so had my stove on the table. Lovely relaxing evening.
