This was our second time at Lily Pond and it was once again a wonderful stay. Our site by the pond is so beautiful. A definite favorite on Hipcamp.

Myself, daughter and son-in-law had a wonderful 4 days mid-week on Larry's farm. It was beautiful, peaceful and the site was right on the pond. Not great fishing but you can put your own kayaks in the water and our dogs loved swimming in the pond every day.
The site where we set up our 25 ft RV & tent was sunny but the woods are right there so you have a shaded area for your hammock. We brought our canopy for shade over the provided table and chairs which we highly recommend for hot, sunny days. At night it was nice to sit around the fire which is right next to the pond and listen to the frogs - boy are they loud! Bring your earplugs if the sounds of frogs at night and birds in the morning are not your cup of tea.
Potable water was provided at the main house and there was a 5 gallon jug for us to fill up and take to camp. Outdoor shower, sink w/ mirror, and flush toilet are all available outside the main house in addition to the cleanest port-o-potty we've ever seen a very short walk from camp. Larry's daughter, Serena was super nice and helpful. She also let us pet her chickens and hold their baby ducks!
Close to Forest Lake for kayaking and swimming. There are shops, restaurants and plenty to do in the area. Keen is about 20 mins away if you need Walmart or any major stores.
We will definitely be back!

Great site overlooking a beautiful field and feet away from Lilly pond. The hosts were wonderful and the site was clean. We really enjoyed paddling on the pond and watching the many frogs, turtles, and salamanders go about their day.

We had a great stay with our 2.5 and 5 year old. Their first time camping. Location was easy to find and felt like an old school camp site. Exactly what we wanted to expose them to. I’d recommend a canoe or kayaks for the pond if you want to get out there. But there’s a State park nearby for other activities.

Larry was wonderful. He was very informative and gave us little tips and pointers about what was near-by. We were met by his daughter and directed to the backwoods close to the pond. Our site was nestled in the trees, tucked away from everyone else. There was another site there however no one used it. There was a third site, a bit more exposed in the field with its own platform that a very nice couple had rented during the time we were there. Far enough away that if felt we were there by ourselves.
We had breakfast at the picnic table, enjoying the sun in the field during the day, hiking in the afternoon, and let the dogs enjoy the pond for a little swim. Nights were cool and not buggy (we were there in May), spent by a fire in the pit enjoying s' mores. It did rain one night but hardly noticed with the heavy tree coverage.
Port-o-potty was very clean! We were shown the shower but didn't end up using it, we were there for such a short time.
A heads up. No internet, not an issue just a warning. But also no cell service. =( We have T-Mobile and I am sure it's just our carrier. It was kinda nice being totally disconnected from everything for the weekend it was just a little difficult if we wanted to communicate with Larry or get directions anywhere.

This site was exactly what we were looking for. It was secluded enough, quiet at night, nice clear sky for staring at some stars. The portable toilet was spotless and fully stocked with a night lite. Our pup loved having the field and pond to romp in and the trees are perfectly spaced for hanging a hammock :) the fire pits have grill plates but they’re a bit small for the pit and require some finagling. The directions on the listing are vague but Larry was quick to direct us to the site and stayed on the phone until he was sure we’d landed. We will be returning for sure and definitely recommend!

Camping at the edge of Lily Pond was a magical experience. It’s far away from the farm house and offers real privacy. The barn in the distance had a beautiful cupola that rises up above the green meadow. The pond itself is 30 feet from your campsite with a nice campfire pit midway between the shore and our trailer. Otters, deer, chipmunks, and at night, a chorus of frogs, chirping insects and birds fill the air. Amazing.
The hosts provided charcoal for a barbecue that is on the platform and there was plenty of wood for the fire. The potable water was very good.
We loved our stay and will be back again soon!

We had a great stay at Lily Pond and have already booked a return trip. The site was easy to find, right off a main road. The camp was set back across a large field in a semi wooded area at the edge of the pond. You can drive right to the site. The site was complete w picnic tables, fire pits and a clean Porto Potty. A shower and sink were available near the buildings on the property, which are closest to the road. The site is within a short drive of numerous outdoor recreation activities and also food and drink options in town. Because the site is close to the action, there are noises from the outside world but that did not bother us at all. Larry was helpful and available if we had questions. Overall a fantastic trip.

We loved our 2 night stay at Monadnock Camp on Lily Pond. The site was private and next to a picturesque pond and meadow. Our host was very communicative, friendly and welcoming. We brought our own firewood but the host had left us some to use as well. The portapotty was clean and there was an amazing outdoor shower available as well. We hiked Mt. Pisgah nearby. The site had everything we needed and we have already booked another weekend to go back!

This site is meant to be driven into. We biked there through a field of tall wet grass. We arrived a couple hours later than expected and weren't able to connect with the host when we got there. A neighbor pointed us in the right direction, but not exactly, and it was dark, so we ended up setting up our tents in the field instead of the actual camp spots were back in the woods. The porta potty had a spider and was full of spider webs. It was really pretty in the morning when the field was full of mist.

The site was really beautiful. Larry was really responsive via hipchat message, which for us was incredibly helpful b/c we wound up running extremely late and arriving in the dark on bicycles. Despite that, we were still able to find the site and setup our tents. My only complaint is that a spider had taken up residence in the porta-potty and it was totally covered in webbing. Nature happens, and we worked around it. But, maybe not great if the toilet is your camping "luxury." Honestly, not sure if it would be preventable via more frequent cleaning or just a "spiders will do spider things" scenario. Overall though, a great experience and as described.
