We loved staying on Julia’s farm! I definitely recommend the farm tour/goat visit. It was so much fun to meet all of the animals and learn about what they do at Dancing Bear Farm.

I loved tent camping at the dancing bear! The owner was friendly and took the time to pointing out all the highlights of the property. My dogs loved the open space to roam around and the view were absolutely beautiful.

First time Hip Camper ! I will be back ! Little farm tucked away on the mountain hillside. Very scenic and beautiful. The Sunrise with the misty mountains was my favorite part. The flushing outhouse was kept very clean and was very convenient! My friend and I really enjoyed the selection of snacks and fruit in the basket as well. We were able to walk around the garden and green house as well. We loved trying purple tomatoes for the first time. The large puppy Dakota was also really friendly and was very tame. Never begged for food!

A wonderful property! Would stay again. Very clean, very friendly, with lovely little touches.
Was a joy to watch the sun set and rise on the farm. Rooster started at exactly 5:05am! Was audible but nothing you can’t sleep through. Found it to be a joy to walk the property in the morning. Looking forward to a fall visit as the season quickly changes!

I recently stayed at this tent spot and had a great experience. The location is on beautiful farmland that’s very well maintained, giving it a peaceful and open feel. The site itself felt private and quiet, which made for a relaxing stay away from the noise. Some road noise can be heard but we were far enough back that it didn’t bother us.
The bathroom facilities were mostly clean and well-stocked, which I appreciated. While not spotless, they were definitely in good condition for a camping setup. It was nice to have a real toilet to use.
Overall, it’s a lovely place to set up a tent if you’re looking for a simple, private, and scenic stay. I’d definitely come back!

Amazing site and fabulous hosts! Cabin with amazing views, facilities exceeded expectations, and the pond was a huge bonus. Hosts were available and helped us get situated with all the many options onsite. It is a real farm! The fire pit, Adirondack chairs and grill made the site super comfortable. Speaking of comfort, the cabin was spacious, beds and linens clean and comfortable, the mini front porch chairs perfect for a quiet cup of coffee surveying the mountains in the distance. We brought our springer spaniel and she also had the best day ever!! This was our first time using Hipcamp and we will certainly be going back to Julia’s site as it offers a beautiful refuge in a beautiful region. Their efforts made this site a memorable one! Cabin, 5⭐️, Local Farm 5⭐️, Site and Amenities 5⭐️ but the Hosts truly made this a site to remember.
