I have been on this land for 45 years and have improved it but let nature reign. Animals that have passed through, and some have stayed: Birds, turkeys, owls, coyotes, bear , moose, deer, bobcat, squirrels, chip monks, voles and mice, raccoon, possum, fox, and fisher. Eggs and veggies for sale in season.

One car only please. Add the other site if you have 2 cars. I have 2 sites + 2 parking places. This spot is a flat area on my lawn. You may actually camp anywhere on the lawn but the place shown is actually flat. See the picture above. Also included is use of a composting toilet, a fire pit, a grill ( bring your own charcoal), outdoor sinks and shower with hot and cold water..in season. The sink shower and tiny kitchen are closed at 9 PM. Swimming is a five minute walk. Many hikes in town and right out the door. Monadnock region of the State. Quiet time 9 pm. Meet and greet before 8 pm. If you arrive after eight, we are often going to bed. If you come in late, there will be no one to show you around and it will be very dark, you can set up your tent where you would like. And you may park anywhere as long as it is on gravel and it is not blocking anyone else. There is firewood, right next to the fire pit. Within 2 feet. Please do not take our firewood from the further off piles because we use that to stay warm inside. Come during daylight hours to get instructions on fire pit use. Usually, you can park in the driveway that has the red wire chicken on the tree and the Blue Heron sign next to it. Please stay on the gravel for Parking. WiFi. One car only please. Add booking of the other site if you have two cars. I have two sites and two parking places. This booking is for camping in the yard. View of the garden and hoop house. Surround of the forest. And you can see the house. Outdoors: shower, sink, and water, (closed at 9 pm) composting toilet building. Many hikes , swimming close by. Quiet time 9 pm. Meet and greet before 8 pm. People who come after dark are on their own. If you do come after dark You will need to feel comfortable parking in the driveway, you’ll need to find things in the dark. There are no lights here. People keep coming in the dark and they keep leaving right away after a few minutes because they can’t see. Dogs on a leash, please. There are free range chickens. The fire pit can be used for a small fire, but you need to come during a time that it is light to get instruction on where the wood is. Bring your own matches. 9 PM quiet time. Also general peacefulness and quietness during the day. There are other people here. No parties. Lots of hiking and even swimming within walking distance. Many other trails marked out in town.

I have a lot of people coming through that sleep in their car or truck or van. It will not be a space for a large RV. If you are one of these people, then you can get a bargain. I can give you a parking space. There might be other cars within sight but there will not be other people staying in those cars. They will just be parked. It might be in my driveway or it might be in another driveway further into the forest. You will have access to the shower, the sinks, the composting toilet building. And a kitchen in a small building with basic cooking supplies. There will be outlets to charge small devices, but not electricity for appliances. There is a 9 PM quiet time. And you must arrive before dark.

Wooded gravel, dirt No extra amp hook up (15 amps available) composting toilet. You will be able to see the house, the back of the garage and you will be near the fire pit. You will also be able to see lots of forest. If Above 40F use an outdoor shower, and sinks. Before 9 PM.Also, Tenters can rent this space too. This space can be right next to your car. Fire pit when not too dry. Lots of hikes and swimming in walking distance and in town and area. Driveway: red hen on the tree. Quiet time 9 pm. Meet and greet before 8 pm. Please only come if you feel comfortable parking ( only park on the gravel) on your own and in the dark. If you need to find things, you’ll have to find them on your own or wait till morning. WiFi. Private indoor basement room, walkout door, the bathroom is a shower with a toilet in the shower. These are used in RVs for space consideration. 1 double bed. There is bedding and plenty of blankets.Small kitchenette with pots, , dishes and utensils. Microwave, convection, oven tabletop burner, refrigerator, and sink with hot and cold water, Dehumidifier. Temperature in room around 60F. There is an oil radiator that you can use only while you are in the room. One car only please, no more. 9 pm quiet time. A Notebook with area maps and other interesting things of is on the dresser. Well behaved pets accepted. Quiet time 9 pm. Meet and greet before 8 pm. If you come during the dark, it will be dark. There are no lights. Arrival after dark means you need to find your own way to the back of the house where there is a door that has a sign that says Hipcamp. Do not go in the door on the side of the house this is someone’s rental. The walk to your door is unlit and over a hilly lawn. Remember this is hip camp not an Airbnb. Items may be well used, but everything is functional and clean.

Glamping: indoor double bed room

A great spot! I’m a sucker for an outdoor shower (didn’t use it, but wish I had!). Nice lil composting toilet. All the amenities you could want at a great price! We stayed in the “glamping” room. Kris was lovely too!
