I messed up my reservation and we were arriving a night early. I called Luke, fortunately his number was on his Hipcamp page, and it wasn’t a problem. We were actually the only ones in the area, being the second week of November. We arrived in the dark and were able to figure out the site layout. My dogs loved being able to run around off leash for the first time in weeks and gave the site four paws up. Luke was driving down the road as we were leaving and rolled down his window to chat with us a bit. Overall an enjoyable experience!

So peaceful camping! We were the only ones there and didn’t see a human during our two night stay. The hiking was gorgeous, as were the stars at night. Thank you!

We were just passing through but while I was there I went mountain biking across the street and that was a very different experience and I loved it! I’ve never mountain biked next to a bunch of cows before! Hilarious. Anyways it was kind of sprinkling and I was very thankful they had a hose to use! The WiFi helped too.

Potter's field is in a beautiful remote part of Nebraska. The camp is well maintained. The electical and watwr hook-ups were in excellent conditon. Good water and clean power. There is access to a large area that you can walk or mountain bike. Dark sky.

If you want peace and quiet this is the place to go.
A beautiful pastoral setting. The property was easy to find, just follow Luke’s directions. The 30 amp service at the sites looked new. The port a potties were clean. Across the street were hiking and biking trails.

There just aren't enough fabulous words to describe Potters Pasture. My dog and I loved it. There are too many trails to count. The trails are for rugged bicyclists, but we hiked them. There was another camper there when we got there, and we did meet, but they left the first day. So we had the place to ourselves. There are several campsites with electric and water. Just a wonderful place to stay.
Potter's Pasture is incredible, and we will definitely go back.

The campsite was a nice and quiet setting, in fact I was the only camper there. Everything was set up well, nice to have wifi and loved the cows across the way!

This is an unexpectedly magical spot: rolling hills, green meadows and wildflowers galore….all tucked away from any traffic, houses, etc.
The “facilities” are complete and clean and functional.

Great spot! Nice spacious camp spots, good views, quiet. Wifi is definitely an added bonus, especially for solo women campers like me. The signal is stronger near the garage. Porta John was clean and well stocked.

I stay at alot of HipCamps all over the USA as pups and I travel for work and competitions (pro dog trainer). Potter's Pasture remains my MOST fave of them all! I plan our East/West Coast trips so that we can stay a few days if at all possible! So quiet, so many stars at night and SO MANY TRAILS! Luke obviously cares a great deal about the property. His attention to details show it. Photo is my bunch atop sunset ridge, just stunning!

It was perhaps a bit too warm and humid for tent camping in mid August but we still had a pleasant night (once it cooled down a bit). It’s a lovely space. We heard coyotes howling and cows mooing and saw what we thought was a porcupine waddling across the dirt road.

I am so grateful this site exists. I stayed here both coming and going during my trip. Second time around, I was grateful to have the first spot next to the Wi-Fi. But, I was also happy the first time to have the privacy way in the back. My daughter and I enjoyed hiking across the street, just watch where you step! Lol. People had complained about ticks, but we did not experience any.

Potter's Pasture was a great campground. Electric and water was a huge plus. The sites were very spacious and spaced well. It was so peaceful and quiet. Using the gps pin or searching Potter's Pasture leads you right to the gate. I would absolutely stay again.

Fabulous camp and campsites 20-30 min south of I-80. The hills are so beautiful and it was a quiet stay. I didn’t get a chance to explore all the amenities and trails but even without that I absolutely would stay again. One of my faves

We had a great stay at Potters Pasture. We stayed for one night on our way back to Minnesota from Colorado. It was a great place to rest after a long day on the road. It was so peaceful! A sanctuary away from the freeway. We loved watching the fireflies as we went to sleep and woke up to the birds and the cows mooing. Super convenient with electricity and water. Can’t beat the price!

Potter's Pasture was awesome! We spent 3 nights, with no other campers until the 3rd night. Even then we felt totally secluded. Our dog loved running free through the pasture. Electric, water, and even Wi-Fi made it as good or better than any of our favorite spots. Lake Jeffrey just up the road gave us a place to launch our boat for a lovely time!

Wow is this place a hidden gem! Absolutely our highest recommendation. Yes it’s beautiful yes it’s tranquil yes it feels safe but more than that this place has a special vibe. We stayed one night and had a great hike with the dogs up to Sunset Ridge. Clean water, clean hookups and great WiFi. Next time we’ll stay longer and bring our mt bikes. They’re putting in a few frisbee golf holes and we’ll be back for that too. The family that takes care of this trust land really cares and it shows.
