Welcome to La Finca Nalex! 🌴 We are a camping-loving family excited to open our gates and share our piece of paradise with fellow outdoor enthusiasts! Located in Río Grande, PR—famously known as “La Ciudad del Yunque”—our farm offers an authentic, rustic camping experience nestled in a lush tropical environment. Whether you’re looking to pitch your tent under the shade of our breadfruit trees or relax to the natural evening symphony of coquís and crickets, La Finca Nalex is designed for nature lovers seeking relaxation, fresh air, and warm local hospitality. A Prime Location for Exploring Puerto Rico Our property is strategically located in the eastern region, making it easy to balance peaceful surroundings with access to top local attractions: • Easy Access & Transit: Just about a 30-minute drive from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in San Juan and only 20 to 25 minutes from the Ceiba Ferry Terminal for day trips to Culebra and Vieques. • Iconic Landmarks & Coastal Fun: Located just minutes from the main entrance to El Yunque National Forest via Luquillo/Río Grande, beautiful eastern beaches, the popular Balneario La Monserrate (Luquillo Beach), and La Paseadora, a scenic boat tour along the Río Espíritu Santo. • Great Food Nearby: Near the entrance, you’ll find Ekelekua, one of the area’s best spots for brunch, drinks, and tapas before heading out on your adventures. The famous Luquillo Kiosks are also nearby, offering even more variety! Life at the Farm As our guests, you’ll be immersed in a living, working farm environment: • Resident Animals: You’ll be greeted by our two friendly farm dogs and our farm cat. We love animals and welcome pets, provided they are supervised around our resident animals and near the property’s open boundaries. • Bee Conservation: We proudly host active beehives on-site to support local bee populations. Fresh local flora abounds, and you’re welcome to enjoy ripe fruit straight from our trees during your stay! • Rustic Comforts: Enjoy access to clean, fresh drinking water provided on-site and the freedom to choose your own campfire spot under the stars. We’re Here for You & Special Experiences Your comfort and experience are our top priorities. If you need anything or have questions before or during your stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly! Depending on our schedule and availability, we can offer personalized add-ons that may include ambient music, local appetizers or snacks, a small guided tour of the property, and more to make your arrival extra special. On leash. Pets & Farm Animals: We love animals! We have two friendly farm dogs and a cat on the property. Please note the property is not fenced in. Pets don't have to be on a leash constantly, but if you choose to let them off-leash, they must be strictly supervised by you at all times to ensure smooth interactions with our resident animals. (Please note: Guests are fully responsible for their pets and any incidents related to them).
No campfires
Campfire Policy ​Choose Your Campfire Spot: While we don't have a single fixed campfire pit, you are welcome to pick a designated spot at your campsite for a fire. We just ask that you build it safely, keep it at a manageable size, and ensure it is fully extinguished before going to sleep or leaving the site.
No toilet; campers must bring camp toilets

Potable water available
Spigot, tap. Fresh Water Available: We provide a large, white tank with clean, potable water for your use. While the supply is limited per refill, it is more than enough for the whole family if used wisely. If you are staying for multiple days and need a refill, just let us know and we’ll be happy to top it off for you!
