Caution against arriving at night as it wasn't very clear where to go within the field. I learned later that anywhere was fine, but having some clear direction would have been less stressful.

This place is beautiful and the location is close to everything you might need. Heidi was quick to respond when I asked a question. JUST BE SURE TO PACK THE BEAR SPRAY!! We had one way to close for comfort at our camp.

Good Old Camping by the Creek
The property was beautiful, we stayed at the end at site 6. It had the creek running through and had tall trees to help block the sun. Firepit at site was very awesome. We were able to go to the Bison range easily and the 1000 buddha park.
Very responsive host.
Things to be aware of: as it says in the description it is right off the highway so there is a lot of road noise. The surrounding neighborhood is gas stations and store lights which you can see at night and there is a live music stage right next to the venue which was having a rock concert while we were there. These were all things that did not bother us, but might impact someone who was looking for more privacy.

Great stop before heading up to Glacier. Heidi was kind to check in with me ahead of time and the property was freshly mowed and clearly marked. Great view of the mountains overlooking the town.

It was a wonderful back to nature experience. Whitetail deer(including 2 brand new fawns) great grey owls, kingbirds. Don't expect groomed trails, this is Montana in it's natural state. Yes, it's near the highway so expect the noise. Great visit, would do it in a heartbeat.

We attended a wedding in Saint Ignatius, so we honestly didn't do much but sleep for the evening. The creek is lovely i would definitely stay again. The highway was noisy, but hey if you read the description you already knew that! 😉

We needed a place to drop our Tiny House for a few nights to fly out of Missoula for a family emergency, we booked one of these sites and then a full hookup site at Mission's Best RV Retreat for the night we flew back in (highly recommend). Alan (Host's husband) met us at the gate and as there was room at Site #2 at Mission's Best RV retreat during our stay allowed us to park there until our full hookup reservation started. Great hosts, and although we didn't use it it looked like a good dry camping spot!

Had a night to fill on our drive from Glacier down to Yellowstone and chose to stay here, very glad we did! Met Alan at the site and he helped guide us in, and when we had a question about power hookups at site #2 the hosts were extremely responsive. There is an event venue on the property in the big red barn across the street, but they wrapped up late afternoon and were very respectful of our space. Pizza at Simon's in town was great, gas/diesel convenience stores and grocery stores in town were nice and well stocked with nice people all around. Would recommend.

Very easy access, nicely marked sites, with a lovely stream along the edge of the property. Full service gas station pretty much across the street, and a great breakfast at a local fiber about a mile away. All in all a good spot to spend a night on our way up to Glacier!

This site is right off the highway, which of course has its pros and cons. We chose site 4 in order to be furthest away from the highway. You definitely get a good amount of road noise and light from street lamps and surrounding businesses, but that didn't bother us. It was a very convenient stop off. We enjoyed the creek and the views (which I'm sure would be even better without all the smoke). Thanks!

Stayed at site #1 of 2. Cute spot next to a lovely little red barn. It was very easy to pull in and park our fifth wheel trailer in the spot. It’s close to the main road to an easy stop for a night. We didn’t use the utilities, but 30amp service, water and sewer is available. Toured the church and had burger and shake at The Malt Shop in town. It’s a good overnight with easy access.

PROS: Convenient to the highway and interesting local attractions like the National Bison Refuge and Garden of a Thousand Buddha’s. Heidi has also gone out of her way to make the sites pleasant with fire rings, firewood, and a table which is much appreciated! Being by the brook is also nice but...
CONS: the noise + lack of privacy. I was traveling in my rooftop tent and the sites themselves are in an open field with the nearest site maybe 100 yards away from a busy highway with big trucks and traffic, a brightly lit gas station, motel, etc. All 4 sites are out in the open with no privacy between them (I personally wouldn’t mind and no one was there for my stay, but thought I’d mention it). If you have a relatively soundproofed RV or don’t mind the noise, the site works well and the area has plenty to do! For me though, I didn’t even really want to stick around to make breakfast because of the road noise so close by and lack of privacy.
I don’t mean to knock the site — the hosts are very kind and thoughtful, and it’s great if you have an RV and simply want to stay overnight close to the highway, or don’t mind a bit of noise and want to explore all the area has to offer for longer. I just had an impression from the reviews and photos that it was a peaceful secluded site by a babbling brook and wish one of the other reviews had mentioned these two drawbacks before I arrived late in the night!

This was a lovely creekside camp right off a main road but private and full of wildlife (we saw lots of deer, birds, an owl lives right there).
The owners are great and easy to contact- they provided a table, fire pit, wood... they are developing a few more sites along the creek.
The location is a great base camp to visit the Bison preserve, Missoula and nearby parks and trails.
We had pretty good WiFi with Verizon. Gas and food are nearby - water and dump station for trailer/ RV was right up the road at Cenex in Ronan.
I’d definitely stay here again

It was a wonderful place to camp- so private yet so accessible!. I felt like I was in the woods yet I could walk to the local grocery store, post office, restaurant and hardware store. The owners, Alan and Heidi, catered to our every need. They were amazing.. They even brought us over a marshmallow welcome. The camp sites were well marked and it was easy to pull in and out of. The creek provided the perfect setting. We even tried our luck fly fishing. Fried up a couple Brookies! Yum!
