I loved camping at the cute little hobbie farm they had to offer. My son loved the animals and we had a great time. Would come back again when we travel on through.

This was a great spot to stay on my way out to Glacier, and the view was amazing! Also gotta love the horses 🐴 There were other farm animals there too, and while they could be vocal at times they weren’t too bothersome.

Quiet Cattle Ranch
It was so awesome to find a place to camp for the night on our way through Montana! Linda was a great host and even let us move our tent under her deck to avoid getting rained on. Her property has beautiful animals including horses and a nice view of the landscape.

Linda’s was a great place to stay! Perfect for along our drive cross country. The place is beautiful, great sunrise, and the animals are so fun to be around. Highly recommend the stay, very convent off the highway.

The view is nice. It was easy to locate from medicine rocks. (Cell service is spotty so we appreciated the reference points from Baker and the Park.) It was nice to be in a remote area. We were able to have fun watching the host’s animals too. It didn’t bother us, but a heads up for others, You will hear turkeys, ducks, chickens, cows, and roosters. Host accessible with questions on the app.

Serene and absolutely stunning views. It can feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Linda was very welcoming! And the assortment of birds was unbelievable (spoiler peacocks!)

We arrived at the site... No one greeted us, in fact no one spoke to us the entire time we were there. Property was reasonably nice but the lack of communication made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable being there. The perk was the most beautiful starry night I've ever seen!

The fact that there is a hipcamp in remote south east Montana is priceless. Basing my return trip to San Diego on where my hipcamp site is located is what got me to cattle country. So much wide open space! The thunderstorms in big places are no joke. Linda was very communicative and helpful to get us situated for fantastic weather. Super quiet. Horses chickens peafowl. It was a great place to lay Our head on our journey

A nice little spot to camp on a road trip. Very quiet and out of the way. The host was friendly and offered several locations for us to set up. We happened to be here during a thunderstorm so our experience with the weather was unusual, but I would definitely come again!

If you want to be in a quaint place, off the beaten path, but with a unique experience., this is for you. Cows, horses, ducks, geese, peacocks, ginnies, roosters (they get up early), you’ll love this place. A beautiful view of a butte off in the distance too. No ame ties, but lots of peace and quiet and solitude.

I spent one amazing night on this beautiful property. The host to give me an option of being a little farther from the house, down in a field and it was perfect. First of all the drive to get there is stunning, but if you’re coming from the highway fill up with gas, by the time I got to Baker I was almost empty. Baker has a nice little grocery store and a great coffee shop with breakfast bagels open at 6 AM. I loved having some space, enjoying a stunning night sky, and watching the light change colors on the landscape as the sun set and then again in the morning as it rose. It was a very special visit because it’s a very beautiful place.

Linda and her family were wonderful hosts. Their house is beautiful, and the animals are lively! Flat camp spot, and good wifi. Perfect for staying overnight on a long road trip.

We spent one night here on a short notice booking, and it was so wonderful!! Linda confirmed our reservation almost immediately was incredibly kind and generous. We woke up to a gorgeous sunrise and got to say hi to so many animals! We were greeted in the morning by the sweetest dog and went on a short hike through the pastures. Would highly recommend stopping here, it’s a beautiful place, the host is kind and flexible, and the animals are so much fun. Thanks again Linda!!

I found being away from everything out in a field very restful. The house was still in view, but site felt very private. (We were the only campers.) The stars were incredible! We called host a couple of times for clarity of directions because our GPS was a little off. She was very positive and accomodating.

Quiet Cattle Ranch was just what was advertised and exactly what I needed for drive through. Off the beaten track, down scenic roads, but not out of way if traveling Midwest to west (or vice versa) and you like taking state hwys vs interstates.
Checkin was smooth and The site was close to house yet far enough away to have real privacy.
Sunset/moonrise ad stunning as any I’ve experienced. Definitely recommend if you are looking for basics in a secluded and safe spot.

Beautiful spot to pull up to! Directions were spot on but it is definitely in the middle of nowhere, so be sure to have all of your provisions. Baker, the nearest town, does have a grocery store. Unfortunately, a storm rolled through and the wind was incredibly intense. We would have done better to stay in our car that night but the house dog, Jack, had come to visit and stayed the night with us in the tent. A welcome comfort. Since a bathroom is not provided, I suggest bringing one of those pop up outhouse tents because there wasn't a good hidden spot to makes use of, ehem, "natures toilet." All-in-all, a good spot to stop in Eastern Montana. I'm sure the skies would have been incredible with better weather conditions.

A great spot to regroup after a few days of stressful driving. I was glad to be in a vehicle rather than a tent, as I was treated to a spectacular lightning and thunderstorm, high winds, and torrential rain! By morning it was calm and sunny!
