Great campground with helpfull staff. Nice big tent site for our 8x13 canvas tent. Great firepits for cooking. Very nice sound from the creek next to our tent for ambience. We loved it here. Will be coming back in the future.

Blank Slate Tent Site

It was okay but for the price, we expected more. Only half of the offered tents actually had floors and the floor was fairly dirty. The highway noise was noticeable as well. That being said, the sanitary amenities were nice.

Site 3: Bison Bluff

Nice spot by a side channel of the Yellowstone. Expect mosquitos in July and some flies but not too bad. Bathroom and a shower were nice after a 90 degree gravel bike ride. Sites not signed that I could tell, just picked a spot with some shade.

We pitched a tent near the water and we had no other neighbors. It was a peaceful place. If you can’t handle the smell of THC I would recommend finding another location. I did have a headache while staying there because of the potent smell. It was a little noisy due to the vehicles passing by on the roadway. My children had a wonderful time. The connivence of the usage of the bathrooms was helpful. The water temperature was hot.

Lynx Landing

My family really enjoyed our stay the 7 Point Hip Camp. Lots of grass, shade, and right on the water. My grandson’s even caught a couple of nice brown trout. We floated the Yellowstone and were able to row right to our campsite. Paradise Valley is truly amazing and this spot is central to everything.

Site 9: Trout Stream Sanctuary

There was nobody there when I arrived and I was sent to voicemail. After about 20 minutes, they replied with a map that does not match the roads/structures and the host argued with me that it’s accurate and directly from Google Maps when I message for help finding a site (I was looking at Google Maps at the same time. It doesn’t remotely match). They advertise 21 campsites at variable pricing but in actuality there are only 5 and its first come first serve. Four were overgrown and 1 was covered in trash. The host refused to tell me how to get to the site I had reserved even after asking. She was very rude and told me that I should be happy because people are usually perfectly happy there. Then she said “well, maybe you just don’t camp a lot.” To be clear, I stopped here on my 14th cross country camping roadtrip and camp regularly in my free time. They eventually refunded some of the coat to match the variable pricing for where I actually stayed, but even for the discounted price of $65 the least you should expect is a clean, marked, and helpful/friendly campground. I was also supposed to get complimentary wifi which I didn’t, and they left two floodlights on shining on the campground all night making it bright and hard to sleep. I also want to note that there wasn’t a single other person camping and no cars at the hotel lodging. I would avoid this place.

Wonderful place to stay. Nice intimate camping area and beautiful sites. Electric and water if needed. Lovely bathrooms, as well, at the lodge, available for camp guests. So nice to be right on the river and tucked away off the main road. Really kind people. Thanks!

My husband and I really enjoyed this site! It was exactly what we needed for our weekend in Yellowstone. A place to pitch a tent with access to a bathroom. The river was beautiful, and there were little foot trails leading down the river to a bank where we found all sorts of track. The woman in the office was very nice and super chill. Good vibes all around. The only downside is you are close to the road and can hear the cats drive by, but it's not the busiest road.

We loved being so close to the river for fishing!! And so close to Yellowstone! However, for what we paid the grounds and facilities weren’t quite up to the expectation we had or from previous reviews. When we arrived there was a lot of food and trash left on the ground. The shower had not been cleaned and used dirty towels were piled in a corner in the bathroom/shower room. If we had paid less, we honestly would not have cared. We have camped a lot and typically have low standards. This was different since it was higher cost. When we told the host about the trash, she did come down and clean it up and apologized!! Mixed feelings overall.

We love this spot. Great views, quiet and close to everything. We floated the Yellowstone 2 days, spent a day in Gardiner, Soaked ate YHS, dinner at Chico, and concert at Old Saloon. Marjorie was one site at check in and super helpful and accommodating!!!!!
