Welcome to Open Fields at Starkville 🤍 A quiet escape set on private land, designed for those who want to slow down, breathe, and enjoy a simple, peaceful camping experience. This campsite is located on open land with convenient road access. You may hear occasional traffic during the day, while evenings and nights are typically calm and quiet. This is an open-field experience rather than a remote wilderness site. The property is approximately 15 minutes from downtown Starkville and about 20 minutes from Mississippi State University, making it an easy stay for visitors who want both peaceful nights and quick access to town. We provide one complimentary breakfast basket with your stay 🤍 🌾 The Space This stay features a small, clean metal cabin that provides shelter while you enjoy the outdoors. Guests have the option to: Sleep inside the cabin Or set up a tent outside under the open sky The cabin comfortably fits 3–4 cots or sleeping bags, making it perfect for a small group, couple, or solo stay. The property sits on private land and includes two open fields: 🌿 One where the cabin is located 🌿 A second open field toward the back, perfect for exploring, relaxing, or additional tent setup You’ll have space, quiet, and room to truly unwind. This is a true off-grid, back-to-basics stay: No electricity No running water No bathroom facilities This space is ideal for guests who enjoy nature, privacy, and a slower pace 🌿 🧺 What to Bring Guests should come prepared for a camping-style stay: Cot, air mattress, or sleeping bag Water Lanterns or flashlights Portable toilet (if needed) Portable shower (if needed) Personal essentials Good to Know This is a small metal cabin designed for shelter, not a luxury stay Located on private land for a quiet, low-traffic experience Pack in, pack out (please take all trash with you) ⚠️ Safety & Liability This is a primitive, off-grid stay on private land surrounded by natural woods and open fields. Guests acknowledge: There are no utilities (electricity, water, or bathroom) By booking, guests agree to use the property at their own risk. And one more thing, if you happen to see a little gray tabby cat named Max, he’s ours. He’s an outdoor cat, very friendly, and loves cuddles. Please don’t feed him any human food. 🐾Welcome to Open Fields at Starkville 🤍 A quiet escape set on private land, designed for those who want to slow down, breathe, and enjoy a simple, peaceful camping experience.
