This was our first Hipcamp experience. We absolutely loved this camping spot. Its very serene and private. There are a lot of beautiful, tall trees and trails for nice walks. The outhouse portapotty-style toilet wasn't too far away from the camping area. The pathway leading to the outhouse had several solar lights. There's also an outside motion-sensored light and the inside has a light switch. The stars light up the night sky. Theres a nice, big fire pit. It's really worth it to pay the extra $20 to have plenty of firewood waiting for you. The host and his family are amazing people....super nice and friendly. The eggs are really delicious! At night you can hear owls. There are hummingbirds that feed off of the flowers on the property, and so many berry plants lining the trail.

Blackberry Lane is an amazing spot to camp and I highly recommend it. The site itself is spacious with a GIANT firepit, lots of shade, and very minimal bugs. The outhouse was clean and smell free, stocked with lots of toilet paper. There were loads of blackberries to be picked and many serene trails to explore.
The hosts were super friendly, generous, and helpful but also gave us plenty of space and privacy. I was greeted by Todd (Donald's dad) who led me to the campsite. They came by every morning to check on us, which was super thoughtful of them.
I also bought a dozen eggs and one stack of firewood. The eggs were delicious and firewood was the perfect amount to last us 4 nights!!! We got to meet all of their animals, including some adorable kittens and puppies.
Stars are amazing on a clear night. Heard lots of coyotes in the evening and spotted a few deer.
I would recommend this spot to friends and family and will be returning! Couldn't be happier with my stay.

We had a great time - Todd was great and the site was very accurate to how it is advertised. Every night we had some sort of wildlife encounter - barred owl one night, coyotes (not too close) another, and deer throughout. There was plenty of space for two tents and a small camper and was very private. The property has a lot of trails to walk which the dogs enjoyed. We did very much appreciate that Todd sprayed the immediate camp and toilet area for insects, because it made a huge difference in our comfort for the weekend.

We had such a great experience here and will definitely be coming back. The site was spacious, very private, and we especially loved the fire pit. One of the biggest highlights was the incredibly clean outhouse - seriously impressive!
Our dogs had the time of their lives running free and exploring, which made the trip even better. We booked this spot because we had a concert at the Hinckley Grand Casino, it was only about 13 minutes away, which worked out perfectly.

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday weekend camping at Blackberry Lane. It was the perfect spot to get away with a few friends and our dogs. The site was secluded, peaceful, extremely spacious, and a far cry from being crammed into a typical campground.
An easy drive from the Twin Cities, the site itself is beautiful. Located past a field of flowers in a large wooded area with a majestic old oak tree in the center providing shade and a great gathering spot. There were also plenty of hammock spots to choose from. It made a perfect home base for easy day trips to many of the nearby state parks, swimming holes, and hiking trails. The (massive) fire pit was also perfect for the experience, coupled with the generous amount of firewood provided.
One of the standout features was the pit toilet—truly the nicest we’ve ever seen. It was well-lit at night, stocked with fresh toilet paper daily, and even had an ash bucket to keep smells at bay.
The family who hosts the site was lovely. Respectful of our privacy, but warm and very welcoming when we had the chance to meet them. We even got lucky and visited during a time when there were baby animals to meet on their nearby property, which was such a fantastic bonus.
Thank you to our hosts, we had an awesome time camping at Blackberry Lane and are already looking forward to coming back for another adventure!

My husband and i spent 3 nights and were so sad to leave. The property is beautiful and so well taken care of and the family is so accommodating and friendly! They popped out and checked on us once a day but otherwise let us just explore the land and have our time alone. There were solar lights that led the way to the CLEAN outhouse which was serviced every day! We were able to have our dog off leash and enjoyed watching all the wildlife. We will for sure be back! *we added the load of wood and the farm fresh eggs and just take our advice and do it as well! The eggs were amazing and such a great price for the amount of wood they have stacked and waiting for you at the site!

This is a great secluded campsite, with lots of trails to explore! The host was very friendly and accommodating. The campsite was spacious, level, and had a huge fire pit!

Amazing people AND an incredible spot! Walking the trails and watching the dogs run free was exactly what we needed. The outhouse is awesome, btw. Totally appreciate that feature!

What a weekend getaway. This site was exactly what we were looking for. We got there and were met by Todd who greeted us and led us out to the site. After we pulled up he let us know that this back 80 acres was all ours for the weekend. Site was already stocked with firewood and we were given not only one but 2 dozen eggs due to miss communication on their part. Site was large and we had our camper and our screened in tent set up with plenty of space. We had some great spring weather and we're able to build a large fire to keep warm at night. Stars were out both nights!
Big plus was that we had excellent cell reception to stay in touch with our kids and we were even able to stream the Wild Playoff game directly to our campers TV.

I totally recommend this campsite. It was super worth it. Me and my girlfriend traveled all the way from Wisconsin. And got treated with nothing but hospitality. It was one of the most greatest experiences of my life. The campsite was clean. It was secluded and everything that I needed. If you get the chance to get to this campsite, you won’t be disappointed.

We had an amazing early-season stay at Blueberry Lane campsite in Hinckley, MN! The moment the road was passable by truck and trailer, we headed out—and it was well worth it. The campsite was clean, secluded, and absolutely beautiful. It felt like our own little slice of peaceful Minnesota wilderness.
Our hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. You can tell they really care about the land and the experience they're offering.
If you're looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back for another visit this summer!

10/10 experience, my sister and I had such a great experience on Donald and Todd’s property. We were greeted by Donald’s dad (Todd) who gave us a very warm welcome with a dozen eggs. (We only paid for 6), he guided us to the camp grounds area. It was a beautiful area and extremely secluded, we immediately felt at home while we chatted with Todd. The best experience ever, I couldn’t recommend it more. The perfect place for a peaceful retreat away.

A beautiful , well-kept clearing with a lovely fire pit. We had a great time walking the trail and making s'mores with our kids. Donald went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful location with tons of privacy. Hiking was lovely and the camp had a clear view of the night sky. They have cute lights along the path leading to the new out house. Hosts were so accommodating and they had eggs waiting for us.
The best part for me was watching my dog run free and happy🥰
Pro-tip: purchase wood from them. You get so much for a bundle!

Donald is a great host and his land has a wide variety of landscapes to enjoy. He gave a good suggestion where to place my tent and he provided some essential supplies that I forgot to bring with on my trip.
I heard the wonderful symphony of nature during my stay and experienced nature. As a bonus I saw the northern lights and rolling fog sweep through the wetlands at night.
There are 2 miles of groomed trails and 5 miles total of trails to check out.
Also, the Farm fresh eggs were delicious!
