Very quiet and spacious campsite in a great location! Quick drive to Alden, to browsing the cute town and swimming in Torch Lake! I will definitely book it again if plans work out.

Clear direction to find the site. and the host checked in with us before we arrived. Initially it looks untidy, but once you get into the vibe your realize it has a ton of extras: solar showers, firepit, chairs, lights, privacy. Close to town and great ice cream place.

This was the perfect, private spot for a little tent camping. Host provided quite a few things at the site, like hand soap, well water, hatchet, and picnic table.

I had a fantastic time camping at Erica's site with a great group of friends this year. The space was more than enough for all of us, and the privacy we enjoyed was wonderful. It was very peaceful and quiet. The site's proximity to Torch Lake and Rapid City, both less than 10 minutes away, was a big plus. We never felt like there was nothing to do. We had zero issues with any wild animals in the area like you might see in traditional campgrounds witch was great. Erica's provided amenities made us feel even more welcome, and I am very thankful for that. If you're looking for a welcoming, peaceful, and quiet camping experience near Torch Lake, I would definitely recommend coming here.

felt private and there were more amenities than expected !! candles, rakes, outdoor showers, grill, cooler, fireplace, chairs, it was great!! only complaint is that it wasn’t very tidy. But we weren’t too bothered by that :)

The camp was great, and she had everything you could possibly need to feel comfortable. Unfortunately it rained the whole time, so we couldn't enjoy it as much as we would have liked! We plan on staying again when the westher is better!

This is a perfect tent spot, very private and close to lots of local attractions. There are a few spots to choose from, but the host only allows one booking at a time so you are the only ones there; we couldn't see anything but woods around us! Erica was very nice, helpful and informative, and supplied lots of extras at the camp site. We would definitely return for another stay!

My kids and I stayed here. It was peaceful and close to Torch Lake and other attractions. The host is wonderful. Fire pit, camping shower, outside toilet, hammock, and washing station. Definitely going back again.

It was a neat experience camping on Ericas property. It was nice that you have 3 different spots to choose from. Waking up to the sound of turkeys gobbling and chickens was a first but was all a part of the experience. We had a wonderful time and were thankful for the dry wood and eggs that were left for us since there weren’t goats to feed. Would definitely come back!

Erica was a very friendly host and provided extra things you wouldn’t think we would need. She provided an outdoor shower a composting toilet, chairs and a few other amenities. Nice area very quiet very close to seven bridges which I biked to and very beautiful.

Erica was a wonderful host who offered great recommendations of where to spend our time. Her property offered great seclusion with all the amenities anyone could want while camping. The only downside was we didn’t have enough time to see all her friendly animals. I guess it’s yet another reasons why we will be coming back!

Lovely quiet stay on Erica's property. Stayed in the back at one of her campsites which was easily accessible with a wagon she provided. Really enjoyed the local nature & the access to Torch Lake (under 10 minutes away!!).
Erica was very responsive and attentive & showed me her sweet little farm next door. Very thankful for this experience!

Erica is sweet and very friendly! There are chickens, and goats that I was able to pet. Very close to torch lake. We were the only campers at the site both nights so it really felt like a private getaway.

Erica’s spot here is so lovely, felt so private and secluded yet cozy and homey as well with the nice touches of the outdoor chairs and fireplace. It was only 7 minutes from Torch lake and all its beauty, making it even more magical!
Erica was super kind and friendly showing me around the site and telling me about the area. Very hospitable and made me feel safe being alone on her land!
The van shelter was really cool too and saved me from the morning rain and kept me and my gear from getting soaked before a long drive.
Would highly recommend staying here!

My wife sons and I had a great time at Erica's! She is very welcoming and had a lot of items for use in case they were needed. Very secluded site. The boys had fun feeding her goats and we will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Erica was a lovely host. I got to meet her, her son, and two beautiful dogs. They were all wonderful and the space was just what I needed for the night as I was hiking in the area. I recommend this to people looking for a mostly rustic spot. This isn't glamping (no wifi or electric) but it's not the same as being deep in the wilderness on your own. I mean there are no trash cans or compost toilets in the forests. It's quiet, quaint, and Erica is responsive if you have any questions.

This was our first time in the area and wasn’t sure what to expect. Most things were already provided to us by the property’s owner with that great Northern Hospitality. Location was minutes away from everything we wanted to do. Had convenient up to date info via text and we will be back!

Erica's lovely little camping area on her property is great for the tenter (or camper van folk) looking for a good spot to base their Northern Michigan adventures from. Just 5 minutes from the beautiful Torch Lake, Erica has your basic camping needs covered.
From the fire pits near each tent spot to the sweet camp shower set up, you can truly enjoy your time here. Of course, this is no Hilton hotel. What you can expect is a good place to pitch your tent, rugged shower and ‘bathroom’ facilities, and an expanse of trees above your head. A small camper van could make it’s way into the entry area and make a good campsite for itself also. Animal visitors are common in these woods so be on the look out! And if you’re lucky, Erica may take you to meet her goats and eve have some fresh eggs on hand!!
I recommend this site for anyone wanting a nice camping experience while also being not a far drive or bike from one of Michigans premier inland lakes and just under 40 minutes from Traverse City.

Needs a lot of work! Only 1 way in and a huge mound to drive over. 1 site in front is in the way to get to 2 other sites in the back which I didn’t even try to go back into as I didn’t want to damage my vehicle driving over the hump.

Erica was a great help and was very accommodating! She was very easy to contact and very quick to respond. We ended up only staying one night instead of two, as it was a bit overgrown in areas that we would have liked to camp. Having said that, we didn't get enough time due to our schedule to walk around the property as we'd have liked and we might have found a better spot had we done that.

It was a little tight getting our 69 VW camper in there, but we did and had a great time till the rain rolled in. We reserved our spot for 2 days, but ended up leaving the next day because of the rain. We would stay there again, beautiful area and just a short drive to Torch lake.
