Learn more about this land: Located a few hundred feet from blue ribbon trout stream the Rapid River. Also less than a mile away is the carribean of the north, south torch lake sandbar. Nestled in a 5 acre grove of maples, You can find the perfect quiet spot in the woods for wildlife viewing or camp closer to the road with easy access to camp van on the property incase of inclement weather. Three sites to choose from. Potable water from my well and firewood from my woods are also available. Please note: you may hear deer and other animals walking around your site, remember, they were here first. :-) Please leave a note in the guestbook provided and happy camping. We are switching gears and preparing for organic veggie gardens. However... we still have overly friendly turkeys and chickens. Private and convenient, not tidy.

felt private and there were more amenities than expected !! candles, rakes, outdoor showers, grill, cooler, fireplace, chairs, it was great!! only complaint is that it wasn’t very tidy. But we weren’t too bothered by that :)

The camp was great, and she had everything you could possibly need to feel comfortable. Unfortunately it rained the whole time, so we couldn't enjoy it as much as we would have liked! We plan on staying again when the westher is better!

This is a perfect tent spot, very private and close to lots of local attractions. There are a few spots to choose from, but the host only allows one booking at a time so you are the only ones there; we couldn't see anything but woods around us! Erica was very nice, helpful and informative, and supplied lots of extras at the camp site. We would definitely return for another stay!

My kids and I stayed here. It was peaceful and close to Torch Lake and other attractions. The host is wonderful. Fire pit, camping shower, outside toilet, hammock, and washing station. Definitely going back again.

Camping

It was a neat experience camping on Ericas property. It was nice that you have 3 different spots to choose from. Waking up to the sound of turkeys gobbling and chickens was a first but was all a part of the experience. We had a wonderful time and were thankful for the dry wood and eggs that were left for us since there weren’t goats to feed. Would definitely come back!
