I felt very welcomed and had fun helping around the garden. Loved seeing the ducks. We stayed right in the backyard, even though the woods were a great option too! Fun time, would come again.

The location is awesome. It's close to a lot of beautiful parks and natural areas. It was an easy drive to Lake Michigan and a nice beach.
Our hosts were friendly and kind. I felt welcomed and it was good place to take our very small kids. We enjoyed having a fire next to the ducks!

The forest was nice. There was plenty of space to set up our tent and park next our camp. Car camping was great for one night. There was a composting toilet for us to use if needed. Mike and Ally were very responsive and welcoming. They communicated quickly and showed us around when we arrived.

Mike and his family were very welcoming and flexible with timing and availability! We were able to book the same day and have a lot of land where we could set up a tent. It was a little hard to navigate with our car, but it was definitely doable.

We had a great stay here and the hosts were kind and generous. They showed us around when we arrived and they even shared a fire with us. The property itself is set up great for campers and there is plenty of privacy.

This place is private N 420 friendly. We have a low car an was able to make it back close to our camp site. There is a lose dog running around but it came to meet us when we first got there and didnât bother us them entire trip a wasnât even bother by my dog. There are a few kids an neighborhood kids that hang around so at first I was a little worried to smoke but we were fall back into the woods that we didnât have to worry about the babies. The view from our tent was beautiful and so much wild life around. We had the whole place to ourselves so donât really know how it is with the other lots taken but is definitely worth the camping trip. Close to a lot of beautiful places to hike a paddle thatâs dog friendly. The host were friendly an walked us through the whole sit an help us pick the best spot. We didnât stay our whole stay cause of the rain that was coming through on our last day plus exhausted from all the hiking and paddling we did they were nice enough to give us our refund for that one day an they did that right away with no issue. Love the environment and energy this couple has an definitely would recommend for a 420 couple with a fur baby!

We loved tent camping on Mike's land! He was very nice and welcoming. The area we stayed was perfect and secluded. You had a great view of the night sky while surrounded by beautiful trees. We visited the nature preserve which was a 4 min drive away. It was a great little hike! Would highly recommend.

I had a great experience at Soul Fire Forest! Mike and his wife met me when I pulled in and chatted for a bit and then they showed me where to park my campervan. There were several nice flat, grassy places to park and I was the only camper there that night. Itâs a lovely, peaceful piece of property and where I parked was very private, quiet and had a beautiful view of the fields and night sky. I would definitely stay there again!

Cool little farm right off the bike trail! The road leading from the trail to the farm isn't very busy so it was a quick and chill ride. There are several spots to choose from and all are well maintained. This is definitely a backpacking style, bring everything you need for the night kinda deal if you are tent camping. It's a quick ride down the trail to downtown New Era which has food and facilities if needed. Mike is a cool guy and I felt very welcome. Overall, it was a great place to stay the night while bikepacking.

We bought GA tickets 2 months in advance to EF and then procrastinated buying our parking passes to where they sold out of parking passes by the time we arrived on Day 1 of Electric Forest. After scrambling, we found soul fire forest online and honestly we ended up having a great time. We werenât paraded with loud music all night while trying to sleep while still staying 10 minutes from the concert. Other people paid an arm and a leg with low tier hotels while we enjoyed the hospitality of Soul Fire Forest and the owner was super chill, a very kind soul and weâll always be thankful for him providing us with an amazing experience at such last minute.
