Steve has a cool spot in Michigan near the highway in Amish country. The area is beautiful and teeming with wildlife. The stars are gorgeous on a clear night. Finding the place is a bit challenging

Wonderful property! The pond was very nice to cool off in during the hot afternoon hours. Loved listening to the crickets and farm animals while having a fire. Would recommend, Steve was a great host!

Great spot, Not secluded but felt private! Neighbors do a have a dog who’s off leash but seems well behaved and listened to its owners when it started to wonder on to the property! Steve communicated well and the half bath not a porta potty is a nice addition when camping.

This is a wonderful campground. I camped in the mittel of a field and was surrounded by high grass, trees, and bushes with glowing red berries on them. There is quite a maze of paths that go through the grass and wooded field. My only regret is that I did not have time to stop and one of the Amish farms and buy produce.

Nice campsite. The host was a great communicator. The campsite was clean and beautiful. The use of the 1/2 bath (which is a very short walk from the campsite) was also a step up from the normal pit toilet situation I have experienced at most campsites. However, the only drawback was some noise issues. The first night there were several dogs that were barking throughout the night. the second night the barking was much less, so perhaps that was an anomaly. Overall, great camping experience.

The grass was somewhat overgrown around the platform, which may have contributed to the extreme level of bugs. I expect bugs, but I had at least 5 bites in the time it took to get my bug spray out of the back of my car. Lots of mosquitoes, biting flies, and bees. The bathroom was a fairly long walk from the site and was inside the house which felt a little awkward to use. There was no toilet paper out but I found some in a cabinet (also a bit awkward rummaging through someone's space). The property was pretty and I walked around a bit but the excessive bugs mostly kept me in my tent or car.

Some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. Small pond for fishing, 2 places for camp fires, an apple tree and berry bushes to eat from. But most of all there was the little to no light pollution. I heard about meteor showers that were going to happen last night and it was just to die for. I 10/10 recommend this place and will be coming again.

Host was very friendly. The campsite is absolutely gorgeous, the fire pit was nice, and access to a swimming hole was amazing on a hot day. Absolutely would recommend, and will hopefully come again.
