I'm excited to share with you my private, five-acre property, bordering 1030ft of the Chippewa River. Whether you are looking for a private site to pitch a tent along the river's edge, a semi-rustic cabin getaway, or a space to host a small group campout or retreat- this property can provide! With the riverfront comes access to swimming, fishing, kayaking and even a polar plunge- if you dare! Firewood is included FREE of charge with any booking. The village of Barryton is minutes away and features pizza and ice cream shops should the craving for a treat strike. It's a short drive to multiple sports lakes that are known for excellent fishing. Rooftop Landing Reindeer Farm is a short drive away as well. If you are interested in renting the entire property for a group campout, retreat, family gathering, boy/girl scouts campout, men/women's weekend, or any other similar type event, send me a direct message to discuss.

River's Edge Campsite

100%
(4)
Tent site · Sleeps 2
River's edge site #2 is a short walk from the parking area and situated right along the edge of the riverbank! You really can't beat the sounds of the river while you hang in your hammock! This site is approximately 100 yards from the parking area so bring a wagon or pack light. There is a composting toilet located in the small grey building next to the parking area. There is a manual pump water station with limited water for hand washing. Once the jug is gone, that's it. Enjoy kayaking, tubing and fishing right from your campsite. There's a firepit with firewood free of charge. At the SW corner of the property, near the bridge, there's a nice swimming hole in the river that's over 6 ft deep. You are free to explore the groomed trails, but I ask that you remain mindful and respectful as there are other sites on the property and there may be others enjoying the space at the same time as you. Disclaimer- there is a bit of poison ivy in the "wild" areas, so I suggest sticking to the trails. I'm working to exterminate it, but it's hardy and it takes time to get it all.

Riverside Retreat Group Campsite

My vision for this site is for a small group of friends, or family to enjoy a private camp with lots to offer. The group campsite is a short walk from the parking area and situated 15 yards from the edge of the river! You're bound to find the serene sounds of the river washing over rocks incredibly soothing! Don't forget your hammock or you'll miss your chance to hang next to the river in two perfectly spaced trees for hammock hangs. This site is situated on the NE corner of the property and on the bank of the river. It's approximately 50 yards straight down the trail next to the parking area.
