The grounds and ambiance are good. Love all the trees. And the hot shower was what I came for. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the location is was easy to find and close to grocery and restaurants. Detractors for me: Having to give a credit card to keep on file for ice and firewood. Neither of which I needed. Very tight camp spots. Train and road noise all night. Bright LED lamp posts at night. Sandy/dirt camp sites vs grass. None of these would keep me from booking a stay again, but it would not be at the top of my list.

It was overall pretty great and the hosts were wonderful. I made the mistake of booking a site with no sewer hookup and that was on me but bath house was pretty far away from my site. It was peaceful. I would return.

Spacious Skies Minute Man’s land was tree shaded, and hidden from the bustle of the adjoining town. It had all the amenities and they even helped us back our trailer into the site. We would definitely recommend.

Probably as perfect a campground stay as I could ask for. We were 20 minutes after the office closed but they had a late check-in process that made getting our site and instructions very easy. The site was nice, the facilities were updated and clean. Kids facilities were fun and enjoyable. The only drawback to our experience was that a camper down the way came out to smoke first thing in the morning and that would have been unpleasant for us at any campground that allows smoking (which is probably all of them?). A very nice campground.

Very friendly and helpful staff and thoughtfully laid out campsites. Clean bathrooms and great little store. Very dog friendly, it seemed that almost everyone had dogs! Loved it!

We had a great time camping at spacious skies campground. We went for my birthday and brought my two nieces who were first time campers. They allow pets so my two year old Labrador Retriever Bentley also had his first camping experience. Spacious skies was a great spot for the family. They had a pool, playground, and arcade. Friendly staff, happy campers, great atmosphere. We had a great time and we will definitely be back!

It was a great site , two outlets were very handy . Site was level so tent sleeping was made comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and showers were wonderful. Unfortunately the pool was not open when we stayed.

Overall an average experience, they sell logs for 10$, the campsites are too close to each other which was unfortunate, they do have bathrooms and showers so that’s was fun. PSA: DONT MAKE A MISTAKE WHEN RESERVING HERE!!!! I accidentally put the wrong date for my reservation because I’m human and I made a normal mistake, when it was time to modify it they charged me as a cancellation so I was charged doubled for a day reservation.

What a wonderful campground! My husband called it magical! And he loved the Arcade. We got our laundry done and enjoyed strolling through the trees and leaves! We so enjoyed our stay here. Thanks to Trey for taking such good care of us.

We loved camping at Minute Man, it was my first camping experience and I wasn’t sure what to expect. The staff was so super nice, thank you to the man who explained the fire starters and which wood to buy to us at the shop! The bathrooms were super nice and really clean! I was expecting something entirely different (and scarier) from a campground bathroom! It’s a very compact campground with lots of people near by but everyone was extremely kind and friendly! I absolutely recommend to anyone looking to camp near Salem! <3

The camp was clean and staff was very nice and friendly. It had some nice amenities like large bathrooms, a game room, a heated pool (although reasonably closed for the year after labor day), and heat in the cabins. The location is really close to the main road and civilization, which I'm not that surprised about given the town that it is in. But we were hoping to be a little more removed from a main road and businesses, so if that is what you are looking for then maybe keep searching. There was a private residence very close to our cabin and a gas station just beyond it. The camp sites are also all pretty close together so you don't get all the nice feelings of being out alone in nature. Overall this park seems more focused on RV camping than it is on tents or cabins. We were bothered by some folks using leaf blowers to clean their campsites, biking around the camp on an electric bike, noisy neighbors, and some folks letting their dogs roam off leash. The camp says to keep dogs on the leash in their rules and they could have done better about enforcing that. I love dogs and brought mine along but he can be reactive to other dogs at times so having other dogs wander up to him without their owner able to intervene can result in lots of barking. Overall I would consider coming back, especially in the winter when it is cold, cause the cabin's heater worked very well. I'll likely try another campground first before coming back to see what else is nearby.

Easy booking, finding the grounds, easy checkin and friendly guy there. Really clean portals, didn’t use the hot outdoor shower but looked lovely. Loved having the dogs roaming around from other campers and hostel goers. Good phone charging facilities. Would stay here again!
