Nate and everyone at pathfinders were great to be around. Very accommodating host and location, especially for being a working distillery and farm. We had a large group of about 11 and we were able to have a great time with picnic tables and fire pit provided.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Pathfinder Farm! Site was easy access, had a picnic table and fire pit. Even though it had rained heavily the day before the ground there was surprisingly firm and dry. Great views all around. Communication with Nathan was excellent. The distillery tour and tasting was well worth it. These guys are the real deal! My husband who is very particular about his spirits walked away with three jars!! Good stuff for sure!!

Every family should camp at Pathfinder. Such a great experience for the kids. Natalie and Pappy were great hosts during our moonshine tour. Thank you for an amazing weekend!

Pathfinder Farm Distillery Camp
Gosh, what a gem. There is only one campsite and it is delightful. Plenty of firewood, nice picnic tables and a great grove of trees next to a creek to pitch your tent. Our two little kids tend to be noisy and nosy at big campgrounds so letting them have free rein was a treat. Bonus: Nathan let them pet a chicken and feed a baby calf!
The distillery piece of it is awesome. I was a little worried it would make the campsite feel busy, but it wasn’t that way at all. Nathan clearly has a passion for his business. No complaints about his free samples, either!

The farm is spacious, with great views, and being the only campsite there makes this hipcaml a real treasure for a family gathering like we had. The walk to the porta potty is a bit of a stroll, so plan accordingly! We arrived after a big storm, so it was a bit sloshy (bring old shoes) , but Nathan had covered the firepit and had split, dry firewood at the ready. Friendly cat, great place for family to share good fun.

Pathfinder Farm Distillery Camp
Pathfinder Distillery is a treasure on its own in rural Maryland, but having the opportunity to camp on Nate's expansive farm was really amazing. We had a large group of 12 spend the weekend, and Nate accommodated by making sure we had plenty of room to pitch tents and enjoy a campfire. We included the tour in our stay, and he gave us a personal tour of the distillery and let us taste a few different types of his moonshine. We also enjoyed boating on his lake and visiting his cows, chickens and friendly cat. It was an amazing spot where you could interact with the area as much as you want, or enjoy the privacy and quietly take in the sunrise to sunset views.

Absolutely amazing experience! My family and I spent our first camping trip on this lovely family-owned farm, and we will definitely be making it an annual event. The kids had a blast running around camp and feeding the chickens. Nathan and his family were the perfect hosts. Top it all of with a few jars of delicious apple pie moonshine, and we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Thank you for a perfect weekend!

Pathfinder Farm Distillery Camp
We only stayed one night, but we really enjoyed the property! There was moonshine tasting, fishing, beautiful views, and camping with the cows. The host was very kind and gathered firewood for us and dropped by to say hello. He kept us updated on the wetness of the land since it had just rained. The sunset and sunrise were both lovely from that spot. Definitely recommend!

We had a great stay at Pathfinder Farm. My kids were on a two-day school break and I was looking for somewhere to camp for just a night. We had a great time touring the distillery, fishing in the pond, and enjoying time by the campfire. Great location in an beautiful area with a lot of outdoor and tourism opportunities.

Comfortable stay, provided at the site is a picnic table and fire pit. The distillery portion is also very interesting, learned a small about the process and it’s obvious there is passion about their product and being kind to their campers!

Great site with a great view. Nathan was very nice and helpful. Plenty of privacy but not far from the Porta-potty. They are a working distillery and we were able to do a tasting and learn about the farm.

We had an awesome time at Pathfinder Distillery Farm - 10/10 highly recommend! We were welcomed with a lovely tasting of their 4 different home grown moonshine flavors and ended up loving the taste so much we left with 6 jars! (Bring some lemonade for the blueberry or some cream soda for the apple pie, you’ll thank me later.) The space for our campsite was perfect, just the mini getaway we needed with a jug of water, picnic table and bonfire ready to go courtesy of the hosts. We also got lucky that there was a fallen tree nearby that we were invited to use for firewood, although they do sell it by the bundle as well. The owners were even so kind as to let us borrow some spices for our dinner since we forgot ours at home, and Papey (nickname for grandpa) even gave us a tour of the distillery room which was super cool - their method of making moonshine is very grassroots and they use heirloom red corn! Definitely will be returning, thank you for the wonderful stay and hospitality! (:

Pathfinder camp was an awesome farm to camp at. The highlight was the tasting of the moonshine produced at the farm and can be purchased there or online. Near to alot of attractions and things to do. My wife and I will be back. Our host had everything there for us. Great experience!
