This was a quiet, woodsy getaway just a quick drive to the coast. It has everything you need really. We only stayed for two nights and were away most of the day, but I would love to stay here again and spend more time here just relaxing.

This place is magical! I loved all of it! It felt like I was in a childhood dream all weekend. The shower was cold but was to be expected because of the lack of sun and large amounts of rain. In the end, it all was a part of the appeal of being in a yurt in the woods.

Absolutely amazing space. What a fun and unique place. Great setting in the woods overlooking a slow moving brook.
Host was so great. I was bringing a 6 and 2 year old for the weekend. She gave recommendations for activities in the area to keep us busy during the rain.
The space itself was stunning. The wood fireplace really set the ambiance. It was nice to have the skylight that opened to release some of the heat and allow for sounds of nature to fill the room.
The beds were awesome, lots and lots of cozy pillows and thick blankets and plenty of space for more than just me and 2 small kids.
The cooking area met almost every need.
My daughter definitely got a kick out of the “outside” toilet.
At night the sounds of owls, frogs and the little brook flowing over rocks was definitely the highlight. It was sooo peaceful to stay up and listen to the crackling of the fire and the nature sounds.
Waking up and the fog had rolled in made it a great place to have a cup of coffee in the morning overlooking the forest.
I absolutely recommend this to small families, couples wanting time away or a group of friends.
Make sure you check the weather ahead of time and plan accordingly. Not a lot of space for kids to be rambunctious when they’re stuck inside.
Absolutely will be a return customer.

My husband, pup and I LOVED staying in this cute yurt for a weekend! It’s private, nature-filled and CUTE! We arrived at night and the hanging lights were on, making it feel so welcome and like a little fairy tree house indeed! The beds were comfy, and we had everything we needed. Instructions and communication was straightforward. The outhouse was the best I’d ever been in, clean and no odor at all! I can take Amy takes great care of this place!
Loved it and look forward to returning. The only change I’d make is adding a mirror somewhere. I’m definitely more of a glamper than a camper and would’ve loved a mirror to get ready with! Luckily I had a small one I always carry :)

We had the best time, there was plenty of room for us and our great dane! It rained the entire weekend we were there but we didnt mind the cozy down time and we made the most of it. The yurt is beautiful and has all the necessities, Amy really does a nice job of making sure you have everything w/o overcrowding. We live about 40min away but it felt like we were further, its private yet still not far from anything you might need but I suggest bringing everything because you might not want to leave. This was our first time trying hipcamp and our expectations are going to high after this one, I think:)

We loved staying in Amy’s tree yurt! It was such a unique experience in a lovely wooded area. Amy was a great host, attentive, and proactive. We hope to stay there again the next time we are in Maine!

The tree yurt is an idyllic and beautiful spot. It has all the necessary amenities and is both private and convenient to downtown Portland. Amy is a fantastic host!

I recently had the pleasure of staying here, and it was a delightful experience! The yurt was super cozy and comfortable, equipped with everything one might need. The location was wonderfully private, nestled in the forest, which made it feel quite enchanting. Highly recommend for a unique getaway!

We loved Amy's Tree Yurt! The yurt itself was adorable, clean, and well-stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The wood stove, warm bedding, and beautiful skylight made it a very cozy getaway, even on a colder rainy night. We also enjoyed grilling and making a campfire in the space out back on a nicer night.

We had such a relaxing weekend! The yurt is adorable and well-stocked, and the wood stove kept us cozy during some rainy weather. Super comfortable bed and warm bedding. Clean and easy-to-use dry flush toilet. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck, listening to the wildlife, and exploring the woods with our dog. Amy was so welcoming and even dropped off some olive oil for us because we forgot to pack it. We would love to return in the summer or fall.

Relaxing. Convenient. Restorative. Peaceful. If you’ve never stayed in a yurt before, do it!! You won’t regret it. Even through a cold Maine weekend, the fireplace inside the yurt kept it warm and cozy. What a wonderful experience.

One of the best experiences you can have! Glamping to the max. Secluded and private. In a tree, surrounded by trees, but electricity is available. My wife and I went in November when it’s fairly cold and the wood heater in the yurt kept us toasty. Beautifully made beds. Clean. Clean and easy dry toilet. 10/10 would recommend coming here- a can’t miss destination!

Loved the yurt! Everything you could want/need was inside and Amy left very clear instructions for the wood stove/toilet/ everything else. Don’t hesitate to stay on the winter, we were super cozy!

We LOVED the Yurt! The wood stove kept us nice and cozy in 20 degree weather. Nice, spacious bed with PLENTY of blankets and pillows. No need to bring your own. The outhouse was exceptionally clean, and I appreciated that it was a dry flush. Lovely fire pit outdoors, too. The place was loaded with everything you’d ever need: dishes, mini fridge, cleaning supplies, wood for the stove, coffee maker, hot plate, etc. I also appreciated that it was dog-friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

We loved the deck and ability to relax with our pups without constantly untangling leashes in an open area. The yurt was super unique and fun to stay in. There was However a house rental on the same property. Which was kind of close, we all heard eachother very clearly. As long as everyone is respectful it's OK.

Amy’s place was wonderful! Cozy, clean, and welcoming. We had everything we needed. The yurt was very cool and unique and the area had great trails for hiking and biking. We would absolutely recommend Amy’s place for a peaceful weekend away!

I have always wanted to stay in a yurt & this one was beyond my expectations! It was so cozy & I loved being up in the trees! All Amy’s instructions & touches were so appreciated. I even bought a handmade ornament that she had for sale. We spent our 17th anniversary there & I hope we can go back soon!
