Once owned by the namesake of the access road to the property (Tolman Lane), this property consists of over 130 wooded acres which provides a quiet, secluded getaway to reset your clock and melt the stress away. A property boundary map is available at the cabin that matches the painted property lines. The entire property boundary is painted red although several hundred additional unposted acres are available for the wanderers out there. There is some posted property to the north that should be avoided. Enjoy!

Pitch your tent in the hemlock grove anywhere around the small pond. The tent sites are a couple minute walk from the parking area and you will have complete privacy except for the deer and red squirrels. Try to find the painted lady bug somewhere around the pond if you can. Enjoy the hiking trails and wildlife! P.S. The pond water is drinkable only if filtered or boiled.

Remote location with many walking trails through hilltop hardwood and dense hemlock groves. Lots of wildlife in the area including deer, turkey and lots of birds visit the feeder. Nearby is the Sandy River that begins in the mountains of Western Maine and meanders through the college town of Farmington where you can enjoy specialty shops and get a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants. We are about a 30 minute drive to Smalls Fall near the beginning of the Sandy River. It's truly a sight to see. If you like walks in the woods, hiking or biking you can pick up a trail near your site. The ITS multi-use trail system through the beautiful countryside is a short drive away. Or if you are looking for a stress-free relaxing get-away, this is your place. The road into the camp is not plowed in winter so a short walk-in is required in the winter months and during the states 5th season ("Mud Season"). A sled is available at the end of the plowed road (Tolman Lane)
