Now that You are in the Heart of the Amazing Maine Lakes Region, Hike the Local Trail System Maintained by the Greater Lovell Land Trust. Pass Through Historical Farmsteads and Moose Blinds on Heald and Bradley Ponds Nearby and Then Venture Further afield to The Presidential Range with Emerald Pool and Bald Face Trails Providing Easy to Challenging adventures. Kayak Remote Virginia Lake facing The Speckled Mountain Wilderness or simply park and walk to the 100' Sandy Beach surrounded by native trout as you wade the waters. All this awaits you within Walking Distance or a Maximum 30 Minute drive to Trailheads. Site One "Monarch Field" on the Corner at the Crossroads of Butters Hill and Merrill Farm Rd./aka Mine Rd.. is a Gently Rolling Open 2+ Acres of Grasses, Ferns and Milkweed making Ideal Habitat for Butterflies and other Pollinators. This Private Site With 3 Camp Spots and 2 Entrances allow for a Creative Pull Through for up to a 36' Unit to a level Site. The second Easy level Spot by the Fire Pit and Picnic Table is a Pull or Back in Site Only. The Third Spot at Monarch Field is Almost level and Ideal for a Tent or Small RV/Transit Self contained Unit. 3 Sites in One! Bring Friends or Family. NOTE: There is an Additional Nightly Charge per unit Parking Overnight and a maximum of 3 Units/Tents and 12 people at site 1. Site 2 is a Dedicated View Site. Again, Self Contained Camping Only. Pull or Back in with up to a 40' RV or Trailer. Open parking Area and Westerly Views. Mt Washington Greets you every morning and stays with You till Sunset. Vitually 0 lights at night provides for the Spectacular Maine Sky Gazing. Northern Lights Anyone? A Nice Shaded cleared area under a small grove of trees. Jessica's land is so charming with the most beautiful landscapes of White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire. She was extra accommodating to offer an extension cord for our sprinter van and did what she could to make our honeymoon trip extra special. Thank you!
