The "Clubhouse" boasts four full-size bunks and sleeps up to eight guests comfortably. This fully functional off-grid cabin features a propane-powered oven and range, freezer/refrigerator, wall heater, generator hookup, battery-powered indoor lights, and outdoor motion-sensor lighting. Amenities include a covered deck, two picnic benches, a solar shower, an outhouse, a woodstove, and a fire pit with ample firewood. Stay a weekend, a month, or even longer! Nearby attractions and conveniences: • 10 minutes to the grocery store • 11 minutes to ATV trails • 15 minutes to a 24-hour gas station • 30 minutes to Machias • 1 hour to Acadia National Park/Ellsworth • 1.5 hours to the U.S./Canada border Please note: • The propane lights have been disabled for safety. • The well on-site is not potable, so please bring your own drinking water.Want to visit Downeast Maine without breaking the bank? The Clubhouse
This was exactly what we were looking for! A quiet place not too far from MDI. Dog friendly space with room for the dogs to roam outside. Shaded picnic table and ample firewood. Thanks! We’ll be back!
