Campsites are nothing like the picture. Sites are littered with stumps. Quite hazardous walking.

Another great stay at Swampgrass! I am soo glad to have found this spot. Make sure you know what is and isn't there (ex. is=water, isn't=toilets). Knowing this, I have just had excellent stays here. I find it a terrific place to make home base while exploring the area.

We came really late at night to set up so we were a little scared of what to think of it, But it was a nice and quiet place to sleep, and when morning came alone we saw that there was a decent amount of space to be used. And overall a good camping spot

I loved my stay at effortless and well-organized campsites. Quite & left alone for the most part. A wide range of sizes cites both tent and camper. Bare bones fire pit on site but no bathroom or plug-ins available. Great location to a wide range of attractions from the sea to Portland & hiking trails.

We loved camping at Swamp Grass Lane! It’s pretty rough, but if you’re used to packing in and out you can find some really nice spots in their land that are nice and private for a few nights. It’s peaceful, Robert and Jennifer are really nice, and we had a great time!

We absolutely loved it there. So peaceful and serene, and the family is above and beyond friendly and accommodating. My two cats loved being able to walk around and checkout the land. The frog pond is so wonderful and we loved going for a walk to check them out and sit and just be one with our surroundings. The hosts have created a great place to not only suit their homebase, but also suit the needs of others needing a place to crash.
This is so far our best stop in our nomad road tripping adventures, and we will definitely be visiting again and again.

Quiet and great spot for rustic camping! There's a firepit, a table and a comfortable space between camps. Very easy to get in and they accepted us very last minute :) would definetly recommend!

We loved staying @ Swamp Grass!
We met Robert on the way in and he directed us to easy pull in sites for our camper van. It was very quiet, peaceful, and dark! We felt safe & comfortable and hope to stay again when in the area.

The hosts were very responsive and accommodating the last minute request with no issues. Jim, the property assistant came out to show the camp site to make sure I could settle down after sunset. Very quiet private sites.

Nice quite dead end dirt road, multiple sites there, 1 and 2 are a little close otherwise they are all spread out well. great safe location to park overnight.

Very private areas between the trees. All eight spots are before getting to the hosts home. We were given the option of choosing any spots left. There are roots everywhere we put a tarp down and then set up the tent. We also had air mattresses so the roots became a nonfactor. There are fire pits in all three spots we looked at. There was trash in the fire pits left by others. Be mindful of picking up after yourselves, it's not the host's responsibility. Please pack citronella candles! Overall. Great experience!

Totally great stay! Very friendly hosts, relaxed space, nicer than I'd expected. Very basic with no facilities, so make sure you're aware of that ~ if you are, it's a terrific spot to be a homebase for local adventures.

Robert & Jennifer and what I expect was there daughter were not only courteous but also brief in our meetings which is nice when you're trying to enjoy your time there. Robert and Jennifer's campsite was perfect. We camped in spot #1. Enough room for our 8 person tent and our Jeep. We arrived as the sun was setting and rain was starting, but the trees provided enough cover to set everything up without getting soaked! There wasn't much noise, aside from a camping group in a nearby area (not his sites) but hearing them, gave us a sense of security. We didn't have a fire ring, but wouldnt of used it anyway. (although we could see nearby campsites where some had a fire going!) For the low cost of just $10 a night, it was beyond worth it. Easy to get to right off the highway and easy to continue on our trip! They were both responsive with messages and very accomodating! Would 100% return!
