River Run Cabins and camping is able to host boon-dockers in campers, Car, and tent campers, and we have 2 log cabins available. Plenty of great spaces to choose from. You will have access to 40+ acres of land, trails, and river to explore on the Sebasticook River. There is a well maintained outhouse and we supply toilet paper and hand sanitizer. We offer kayak rentals and wood available for purchase. Grills (gas and charcoal), cooking supplies such as pot and pans, EZ ups, tarps, hammock, life jackets and other gear is available as shared resources as needed. Feel free to inquire before your trip. Firepit and picnic table at site. Outhouse/compostable toilet is at the end of the road

Dale cabin was built in the 1970’s in the traditional Maine log cabin style. With recent updates it is spacious and features a wood burning stove and sink with rain water collection barrel. Enjoy nature and the peaceful sounds of the river with 40+ acres to explore & 3,200 feet frontage on the Sebasticook river. Excellent fishing, kayaking and hiking. This clean and well maintained rustic cabin easily sleeps four. There is no electricity, but the area has great cellphone reception and we provided a few lanterns and candles. Recommend: bring your own as well. There is a full bed setup and additional 2 cots available, 1 hammock, and a clean and well serviced Outhouse. Cooking supplies. Cooler. 4 Chairs, basic cutlery & plates for 4. grills available. All you need for a great off-grid experience. Carry in carry out trash 🗑️ You will need to bring your own drinking water, bedding (sleeping bag highly recommended), towels, linens and flashlight. You can grab water and supplies from the dollar general about 10min from the cabin or there’s a Walmart nearby. Firewood can be purchased and we offer kayak rentals. Please feel free to inquire. What we provide: 🧻TP is in outhouse extra in green storage bin. Hatchet 🪓 you can harvest your own wood and kindling Gas grill (bring propane!) *Charcoal grill 🍳 Basic pots, pans, and Cooking/grilling utinsels. This is a true off grid experience. There is no electricity or running water at this cabin. It’s a peaceful completely off-grid log cabin without a wire in sight. The cabin features a rain collection barrel. The barrel water is for hand/ dish washing not drinking. Note: cast iron wood burning stove makes this treasured cabins year round for the experienced traveler becomes and stays very hot. The top surface can be used to boil water for tea in the kettle we provide. Nothing should ever be left on the stove.

Newly built log cabin crafted with wood mindfully harvested from our land by local artisans with a keen eye for detail. It Sleeps 4 with the loft. There is a large covered front porch and fire pit. The cabin also features a wood burning stove to keep cabin campers cozy for the adventurous camper year round. The cabin offers solar powered overhead lights and a charging station with amazing cell reception. Included Basic supplies: plates, cups, silverware, kettle, lantern and flashlight. 2 cots in cabin (additional available upon request). You will need to bring your own bedding. Sleeping bag recommended. There is a twin bed setup on 1 cot. We are VERY dog friendly. Where else can your dog bomb around on 40 acres exploring the river. Enjoy 40 acres of woods to explore surrounded by the Sebasticook River. Great fishing, bird watching, and hiking with well maintained trails along each side of the peninsula. Well maintained Amish built Compostable toilet close to the cabin. Compostable/bamboo TP included as well as soap ect. Carry on carry out trash

Dale Cabin dog friendly (on River)
This was a beautiful spot on the river in an amazing rustic cabin. Jennifer was a very accommodating host. We will definitely be back in the future.

What a gorgeous site this is! Choose between two awesome cabins or campsites. You cannot go wrong with any of them. Dale Cabin is well equipped with a stocked kitchen, desk, stove, and bed. I really loved having a fire by the water. My dog loved the trip too!

The Dale cabin was the last site on the property. It was private, quiet, and had beautiful views of the River. Definitely recommend!

Celeste off-grid River cabin dog+
This is a super nice cabin and location. It appears to be handmade with a great deal of care. The cabin is made out of whole logs that are well preserved and caulked. There were such nice touches, such as door handles crafted out of tree limbs, and a solid woodstove with a supply of dry firewood. The host had thoughtfully left flashlights, soap, blankets, pillows, and more. And the battery / solar system powers a colored LED light that our kids loved. And it is a very quiet spot on the river with mature forest all around it and trails for kids to explore. Our only suggestion would be around mapping and signage. During our visit, we had to arrive late. We attempted to use the GPS coordinates provided in the ad and align them with the written directions but discovered that they sent us to a different location on the opposite side of the river. A friendly family came out of their house and corrected our location. We also had a little difficulty finding the correct dirt road. We reached out to the host, and she was very responsive, gave her number, and guided us the rest of the way. Apparently, a white arrow sign had fallen down and she was working to establish an address for the property, so people did not need to rely on GPS or written directions. We thought we’d share this story just as a reminder, it is sometimes best to avoid relying on GPS only, but in no way to detract from the high quality of this property.

A nice quiet spot by the river. Bald eagles and egrets were around while we were there. Great location, close to larger towns but out of the way.
