Very private and quiet campsite with fire pit, which has more than enough room for our camper van and a tent. Played the disc golf course which is nicely laid out and a great morning walk. Thanks Mark!

What a great spot! Down off a gravel road, with minimal traffic. There is a house you can barely see through the trees, but plenty of privacy. The hosts were great - good communication and even left us a goodie bag with some sweet treats and a deck of cards! (They even left us a couple of milkbones for our pups!) Would absolutely recommend!

We had such a lovely week! Mark and Sarah surprised us with a sweet little birthday goodie bag for my partner. The site was a cozy piece of land complete with a fire pit, perfect for some relaxation. There were a few houses nearby, and one was just visible through the trees, which made using our portable toilet a bit tricky—but we managed to stay hidden! Overall, it was a great experience!

We loved our stay! The site was great for a cozy night tucked away in the woods close to Acadia. Mark was very responsive and left us the cutest little goodie bag! Would absolutely recommend!

Great late season adventure! Explored the area, hiking at Wallamatogus Mtn and Tills Point, fishing at Pierce Pond and playing disc golf at Peninsula Links (BYO discs)! We had a lovely fire (for best results BYO firewood) made s’mores and relished treats from the gift bag! Be sure to have backing and tight turning skills to make the most of this site, at 22’ the turn was tight. What a great weekend- Thanks to the hosts for making this site available into the late Fall!

Lovely quiet spot - an easy pull off from a quiet road into a well cleared area in a wooded area with good tree cover privacy all around. Nice fire pit area. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. Would love to come back.

We had the best time at this campsite. It was an easy and scenic drive to Acadia. This was the perfect site to hang at after a day of hiking. We even heard a great horned owl hooting at night.

The site was closer to the road and neighbors than expected. The 1st night the road was extremely busy for a majority of the night and the neighbors had there generator on till the early am. It was difficult to determine where to drive in the lot due to the leaves. We backed in our camper, but our door was opposite the fire pit. We were unable to use the fire pit due to rain. It wasn't as private and tranquil as I read in previous reviews. It was out of the way, but close to a store for things if u forgot something.

I had a wonderful time here. The site is very quiet and peaceful. The hosts communicated well and left a thoughtful gift. Would definitely recommend to anyone on their way to Acadia or Deer Isle.

This site was perfect for our overnight stay in the area. We were passing through on our way to bar harbor and happen to also love disc golf so this was a perfect fit.
We were able to fit our 22 foot trailer in the spot no problem, however I don’t know if you could fit anything much bigger than that due to the fact that you have to get turned around once you’re in there.
Met the neighbors across the way and to the right of the site and they were all very friendly.
The disc golf course was beautiful and very easy to follow on the UDisc map.
Also, the welcome bag that Mark put together was awesome. 10/10 would stay here again.

Tenting on Marks camp was the perfect weekend get away! Close enough to the road that its easy access, but still secluded enough for a quiet camping experience. And only a little under an hour to acadia, an easy and beautiful drive. The area around the tent was lovely with big trees and boulders, and a fire pit. The starry night sky was an absolute wonder. Mark and Sarah left us a goodie bag with some camping essentials and goodies that was a great cherry on top.

very private site on a beautiful property tucked in next to a sweet 9 hole disc golf course...all of which is very well maintained and hosts are super kind. highly recommended (especially if you're a disc-golfer) I will definitely be back if/when I'm in the area.

Campsite is pretty private and easy to find. Incredibly quiet and peaceful. There is a trail leading to the disc golf course. Mark was helpful and welcoming - there are trash bins and they even left us a gift bag! About an hour’s drive to Acadia. Definitely will stop by the next time we’re passing through!

Great experience! Private site, everything you need and nothing you don't, found a huge variety of mushrooms on the site which was fun, and Castine is just a 20 minute drive. Hosts were more than generous and I enjoyed my two nights! Thank you so much for helping to make my birthday special!

A pleasant site cleared in the woods, completely separate from the disc golf course. Convenient for a van, but there's plenty of space for a tent also. Unless you're playing disc golf, there's not much to do in the immediate vicinity.

My partner and I camped at this site for three nights, and it was incredible. The hosts were very nice, accommodating and helpful with great local suggestions, and they even came and gifted us a gift bag full of essentials and yummy treats. The site was private and beautiful. The site also had a fire pit and a nice amount of firewood for us to enjoy. It was a 45 min drive to Acadia, which was perfect for us, as we wanted to escape crowds. Our dog loved the land as well. Excited to come back and hopefully stay at this site again! 10/10
