I really liked this spot! It wasn’t the most secluded but overall it was a great spot, level ground, and a nice table and chairs around a fire.

This was a wonderful quiet, expansive spot not far from outlet Freeport. Ron was an excellent communicator and had some good suggestions for things to do in the area - especially Winslow Park at the end of the road. I missed the entrance and would have appreciated a sign.

We had such an awesome time camping here! This site is very close in proximity to downtown Freeport, while still being a quiet place for rest and relaxation. Their dog Finn is a treasure and must be protected at all cost! While being close to the main road and the hosts house, the privacy and tranquillity is unmatched. I would recommend this site to anyone looking to get away while still not being too far away.

Ron was extremely responsive to our questions! We enjoyed meeting him and Fin upon arrival and had a great evening outside. Very nice picnic table and fire area. Quick walk or drive to dinner, breweries and breakfast. Would stay again if I were visiting the area!

I didn't realize that this was someone's back yard. There was little privacy. There was also a main road next to it and you could hear the cars go by.

This site was absolutely wonderful! The property was very open with a beautiful fire pit and a picnic table with an illuminated umbrella. We were welcomed by Ron and his wonderful dog, Fin. We will definitely be back!!

Ron was a great host, he was quick to answer any messages that I sent and was willing ti answer any questions that we may have had. His land was nice and quiet, making it the perfect place for a good night's rest!

Really nice stay, felt safe and comfortable. We were greeted with a nice peaceful area with mown grass & firewood. Really close to Maine beer company and not too far from Portland.

Lovely private camping site with picnic table, chairs and firepit. We enjoyed the local brewery for dinner. It is close to the road, but that didn't bother us. Ron was really responsive to our messages. Thanks!

Great location, easy to find and get in/out. Host was communicative and the photos are accurate. It’s about 50yds from a house, so not exactly super private, but still a great location. Plenty of food and breweries in the immediate area too.

First the good: Ron and Tracey were very friendly hosts, and the location was great - close to town, close to the coast, lovely mowed lawn to put up tents, firepit with chairs and supplied firewood (but bring your own kindling).
On the not so great side: Noise. The campsite is right next to a street that never stopped with traffic so we were woken up by trucks and cars with base booming repeatedly. The description of the site did not alert us to this fact. Also, the next door neighbors were reroofing and continued their construction until 9:30pm which meant instead of sitting by the firepit and relaxing to the quiet of the Maine countryside we were bombarded by the noise of air compressors, multiple nailguns, and a crew of construction workers and their loud trucks. It was like being back in the city - which is exactly what we were trying to leave. We could have gotten a site at Wolf's Neck for half the cost and had monitored quiet hours. We realize Ron and Tracey can't control their neighbors, but A. since we booked the day before, we feel they should have alerted us about the construction, and B. I don't believe they made any effort to ask the neighbors to stop at a more reasonable hour and certainly never offered any acknowledgement of the disruption to us (a discount/reimbursement would be nice).
Also, there is no toilet/pit. When asked, Ron told us to just 'find a place,' which means folks have been pooping anywhere and we had no idea where. Gross.

Great spot! Site was as advertised. Nice level spot to park our truck camper. Really nice fire pit that Ron had stocked with wood. Park down the street was great for using the restroom and going for a swim. Lots of fun things to do in the area. It’s close to the road but it’s quiet at night and site provides much more privacy than the local campgrounds. 10/10 would recommend.
