What a beautiful and well laid out location. There are different sections of camping, depending on what you like. Large fields with a very nice little stream off the back of the property where you may be lucky to catch some horses playing in the water. The tenting area looks amazing - amongst apple trees and along the river. The owners are present and attentive. We messaged them about a boisterous neighbor after quiet hours and they not only kindly addressed it at the time, but followed-up the next morning. Bonus; The store has a little of everything you could possibly need.

Do yourself a favor and stay at Lone Mountain Campground! This is the best place we’ve camped all throughout the east coast. Great and friendly staff, riverfront property, new hookups and the cleanest bathhouses of any campground we’ve been to. Thanks for a great stay!

This new campground is beautiful. Located in the magical Andover valley. Direct access to multi-use trails equestrian , ATV, snowmobile and abundant hiking opportunities. The owners are super nice looking after everyone's needs. We have had friends stay with their horses and loved it!

Love it so far. Beautiful bathroom with hot water in the showers, clean camping sites, badminton, horseshoes, and other kid games and a river behind the camp site that you can wade in. As a first time camper, I say it's a great place.

Stayed there over the holiday weekend with friends. The place was wonderful! The rv sites are spacious and there was plenty of room for the horses. Owners were there and keep the place clean. We reccomend and will be back!

This is probably the best campground I’ve ever stayed at. The property is gorgeous, there is a variety of site types to choose from, the river is accessible, the stargazing is spectacular, and the bath house is immaculate. I’m already looking to reserve my return trip!

We had a great experience at Lone Mountain Riverfront. There are a variety of sites from which to choose: pull-through for RVs, open grassy area, and finally large tent sites in a copse of apple and pine trees next to the river, which is clean and clear stream. We ultimately chose a tent site next to the river under some trees that offered protection from the elements. The riverside sites have flat areas for tents/campers, but the sites have not been picked clean of sticks or trampled into dust by overuse, like some other places we have stayed at over the years. The owners were very nice and accommodating to our needs. The bath house is brand new and immaculate. I have already recommended this campground to a family member, and I look forward to returning in future years.

We have been in our RV since March. I loved this campground. Corey and Tom were awesome. Beautiful views of the mountains. They even gave us the site there own RV was on because they were full. There was so much to do. Hiking, swimming, water falls..just anything you want outdoors. And I can't say enough about the bathrooms. they are beautiful and CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!! We will be back. Beautiful campground tucked in the valley of the mountains. Great location to enjoy all Maine has to offer. You can take a swim in the Ellis River, enjoy walking the campground property to take in the beautiful views, or hit the ATV trails right across the road. Friendly, hard working, hospitable owners. We will definitely be back as soon as we can!

Very nice campground and the owners are very pleasant. The country setting is very quiet and peaceful with six spots for RVs with power an water hookups. And some great grassy spots down below if you have power on hand. All the spots come with picnic tables and grill. It’s just a short Walk to the showers and restrooms which great for some exercise to walk off that camp meal. Plenty to see and do around the area and during the fall it should be fantastic with the mountains being full of color. Definitely looking to go back maybe in the the months. If you want peace and quiet relax in a serene setting this is the place to go.

We just finished our week stay at this campground. It is a quiet and friendly place. There is plenty to do in the area and you can ride your atv from the campground. The owners checked in with us daily to make sure everything was ok. I recommend this place and we will be back.

Lone Mountain campground is an expansive camping area with multiple sections for the largest campers and individual tents. They have one secluded glamping site so far. They have a central playground for families by the new modern bathhouse. There is a sandy beach along the Ellis River. Trails are available for horses and ATVs. There is hiking on site and the AT is nearby. Their office doubles as a camp store for essentials. The staff are nice and friendly. It's a wonderful place to getaway from it all.

The new owners are friendly and courteous. They work hard to make sure your stay is the best experience. The river is crystal clear. Atv trails as well as the horse trails go right through the property. Also if you don’t have a camper they have tent sites and a beautiful camper for rent. Just ask and your stay away will happen.

Nice facilities, the bath house was clean and well setup. Very friendly owners. They will even deliver wood, pizza or the occasional dog treat to your site. It's a newer campground and obviously they are adding things as they can. Can't wait to go back.
