What an absolutely wonderful cabin! We had the best time kayaking on the lake, hanging in the cabin, and watching the Autumn leaves fall. Our dog loved it too! I highly recommend this cabin - you will have a great time! Frank was a very helpful host.

This location is beautiful! Unfortunately we had really rainy weather so we spent a lot more time in the cabin than we had planned but it was really cozy and the sound of the rain on the roof was soothing. The cabin is very well insulated and we were never cold which was a relief. The host is great and communicative. Would highly recommend this Hipcamp.

We had a fantastic time at the cabin. Perfect for our small family. Like all the reviews before, the atmosphere was peaceful with no complaints. Our 2 outdoorsy kids(8 and 11) loved the cabin. All we added was an inflatable mattress and we were all set. We loved fishing everyday, swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. We took a couple of daytrips to the seashore but were perfectly happy staying at the cabin. The cabin has one of the coolest firepits we've ever seen and we ended most nights beside it relaxing and watching the pond. Great memories to cherish with our kids. Highly recommend.

El Floretta was a perfect fit for us. Beautiful location on the water, music of loons calling in the air and amazing sunsets across the lake. The cabin had everything we needed and lots of personal touches. The shelves were loaded with a wide variety of books to entertain you on a rainy day. We alternated between cooking inside and grilling outside, but always ate outside, then enjoyed an evening campfire. I loved paddling the kayak, while Bob tried his hand with the fishing equipment. Frank was an awesome host, promptly answering all my questions. I would highly recommend it.

We loved our stay at El Floretta! It is the quintessential Maine camp on a lake . A canoe and kayak comes with so we explored Long Pond. The cabin itself is very charming in a fish camp style. Lots of quirky memorabilia adorn the shelves and adds to the family history feel of this place. Dinner on the dock is beautiful! Wonderful hosts too!

I absolutely loved this place. Easy to access and full of all the things you would need to enjoy yourself. We used the canoe that was ready at the dock and a couple fishing poles with a full tackle box to catch us 3 large mouth bass. We had a bald eagle land right next to us in a tree to watch us fish. The cabin was plenty big and comfortable with a bunch of cool decorations and interesting books. This cabin is right on the water and loons pass by within 10 feet. I am planning on staying again in the future.

Frank and Sandy’s cabin is serene. We stayed three nights and swam, canoed, cooked, and had a campfire. A truly lovely cabin with everything you need. Highly recommend giving a listen to the South Sea Island Magic record.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this lovely little cabin on the water. Canoeing around the pond, checking out the bald eagles, the loons, turtles and fish was fabulous. The place is clean and has everything we needed for a relaxing time. Thanks for a great stay.

Our stay at El Floretta was absolutely magical! The cabin is everything you dream a rustic lakeside cabin could be. The decor is so meticulously curated that your eyes always land on something new. Our dog loved swimming morning, noon, and night right from the dock. Directly across the lake from the cabin is an Eagle's nest (Go Birds!) with a little eaglet. The cabin also served as a great go-between Acadia/Bar Harbor and Bangor. A truly beautiful slice of heaven on earth!

If you’re looking for a slice of heaven on earth it’s this little piece of paradise. Frank was so kind and helpful when it came to sharing his place. Nothing like being able to unplug and go sit out by the water - have a cup of coffee, go fishin (with the help of the one and only Noah of course). Truly can’t explain how perfect of a stay we had- so many small touches it made it one of our favorite spots of all time. Already dreaming of our next trip back!

Frank’s Tiny Camp was an amazing place to spend the weekend. It had absolutely everything we needed and more. We took the canoe out a few times and enjoyed the water. It was a short 45/50min drive to Acadia National Park as well. The cabin was very clean. The outhouse bathroom was very clean and easy to use. This is the perfect place to get away, wind down, and relax. There are also some great breweries and restaurants in the area. Frank was also very responsive throughout our stay. I cannot recommend this place more! We are definitely coming back soon!

I cannot recommend El Floretta Tiny Camp enough. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night and can’t wait to return next season. Frank was extremely attentive and communicative leading up to, during and after our stay. We took the canoe out on the water twice, made a fire, read in the hammock — it was truly an oasis.

El Floretta Lakeside Tiny Cabin
We had a wonderful three nights at this rustic lakeside cabin. The heater was great for chilly evenings. We loved having access to the canoe to explore the lake. We even saw several bald eagles! Highly recommend this special spot.

Lovely private camp right on the lake. Close to Acadia and perfect base camp for some late summer adventures. Cabin was adorable, clean, and all instructions were very clear from the host. We had a great time!
