I loved tent camping here at the beautiful Majestic Views! Instructions were very clear and the host, Jamie, was very helpful. I didn't plan a great time to go weather-wise, and it was raining pretty much from the time I arrived to when I left the next day. Still, I was determined to see my camping trip through after the drive down there and I ended up having a great time. Jamie let me stay at a spot where they was a small shelter which some hay bales were being kept under, so I was able to pitch my tent under there and avoid getting soaked. Ended up having a very cozy little set up there right next to the pasture where the horses were out. Despite being in view of the farmhouse, the spot was still very private and secluded. What a gorgeous place- the rolling hills, autumn trees, and even the grey, rainy sky were stunning. Was able to enjoy a very peaceful night. In the morning, I got to hang out a bit with one of the dogs who came down to my camping spot and ended up staying for a while- much to my joy! Very close to the Natural Bridge park so I went hiking the next day after checkout. Thank you Jamie, I hope to be back again sometime when it isn't quite as rainy!

We absolutely loved our stay. We got lost and Jamie immediately helped us, he also guided us to a beautiful camp spot that was perfect for us. Very spacious, private, open and wooded. The views were just gorgeous. We explored serenity falls ravines, as well as a very deep ravine hidden next to our camp spot that was so magical! If you’re a climber that would be a lovely spot. We felt at home, peaceful and safe our whole stay and did not want to pack up to go back home after a week there!
Some things to note, but don’t sway me or my experience at all-
You will hear dogs 98% of the time barking, we are used to this. You will also hear cars and traffic as it’s nestled across the highway, also something we were used to because our own land is beautiful but is also off a main road so we hear it at home too. So if you’re looking for something perfectly quiet, this isn’t for you, but if you don’t mind normal life sounds combined with nature and beautiful views, this is your place. We heard lots of animals and wildlife.
It is a perfect spot to find trails all over, you are close to the gorge and we went there and all over every day. Everything was close enough, but felt far away enough. Beattyville is such a cute little town and we quickly fell in love with it and the community. This is our third time being around that general area/gorge and we love it more each time. We already can’t wait to make this a yearly thing and come back to serenity!

Amazing property with tons to explore. Host met us upon arrival and gave us all the details we needed. The overall property is rolling hills, fields, and forest. There are creeks, cliffs, rock walls, and more. The flat spot for an RV is plenty large enough for our little 17' RV, a table, and fire. Getting in and out with a large RV might be more of a challenge due to the layout. We pulled in on the right side of the hookups, and turned as far away from the road we could, but you really can't turn away from the completely. Maybe if you back in and cut just past the hookups? A larger RV might need to back in? Highway 11 is pretty noisy during the day (but has little traffic at night) as it is elevated from the campsite. The tent areas were probably quieter. The kids enjoyed the visits from the friendly dog, and we had another dog go on a hike with us. We got to pet the horses.
15 Minutes from Natural Bridge and driving distance to plenty of other Red River Gorge area hikes and sites.
No picnic table provided (clearly noted in amenities), so bring a table with you!

My partner and I had the best time at Jamie's campsite. He has a beautiful property, our campsite had a gorgeous 360° view of the changing colors and rolling hills, and it was extremely peaceful. We met his lovely horses and his sweet dog, Baby, came to spend time with us one morning. Overall, I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing place to camp and anyone wanting to be close enough to all of the Red River Gorge action.

Great level land with 30amp power ready to go and lots of grass and trees and really easy to back my 20ft camper into the spot. Dogs were super friendly and communication was great, will definitely keep this spot in mind next time we are in the area

It was a great place to stop fast for the night while traveling. I highly recommend calling the host 15 minutes before arriving. Goggle maps had us driving more than we need to.

Overall, we had a great experience at this site. It’s a beautiful site with lots of great views and wildlife. It was very very private but still conveniently located for Gorge stuff.
It’d be nice if the host had put clearer directions to the site, and info about water. It was inconvenient to have to call and/or send a message through the app.
Otherwise, I would highly recommend!

Location, location, location! The property is within easy driving distance of all the crags and other sites we wanted to visit. While the property is beautiful, the RV site is not. It worked great, so we’d stay again, but I think it’s important to know it is not scenic. It’s sandwiched between a neighbor’s house on a hill and Jamie’s family’s large garage and is right by the highway. There also wasn’t a great way to position the camper to take advantage of the better view and be able to sit on the side of the camper that has the awning. At night we were still able to enjoy the fireflies and see the stars, though, so it worked out fine. Having access to the full site hookup was imperative since we had our dog and can’t take him rock climbing. He was able to hang out in the AC during the day and we were typically only 10-20 minutes away. I’d definitely stay there again. Jamie was also very nice.

We had such a great camping experience. My son and I hammock camped while on a motorcycle road trip. We were able to stay in a newly built pavilion on top of a hill. It was so nice since a large storm rolled through during the first night. Because of it, we and our gear, were able to stay dry without any rain tarps. The property is very close to Natural Bridge SP and the RRG area. We had a really great time.

Jamie set up the perfect spot. There is a big pavilion to camp under and stay dry. The land is gorgeous. We were greeted by 5 friendly horses when we pulled up.
If it rains during your visit, check out the massive waterfall just 2 minutes down the road from the campsite. Worth the visit

We enjoyed our stay on Jamie and his dad’s beautiful 150 acres. Having power, water AND sewer was a huge plus for the camper. The horses, waterfall, sweet outside dogs and friendly hosts made our stay perfect.

Close too Red River Gorge, but yet far enough away, IYKYK! Nice place place spend a quiet weekend in woods. Land is mix of open pasture and tree lined areas. Will definitely be staying here again.

This space was so great for my dog and I and our 23ft rig during our first few days of full time bus life! It was so incredibly peaceful with the birds and privacy. It is right off of a road but it doesn’t feel like it all tucked away and felt super safe. The hosts were so great and gave great recommendations that i asked for. Plus the location is great for so many things! I will definitely stay again.
