Since its development from 1960 to 1983, Turtle Creek Park has undergone several improvements, including the addition of two restrooms and a new boat ramp on Turtle Creek Bay between 2015 and 2017. The park also includes a dump station, vault restrooms, and opportunities for hunting and trapping, ensuring a well-rounded outdoor experience.
