Rolling Acres Farm is a seventeen acre oasis/sanctuary in a sea of corn and soybeans. Larry grew up on this land that we are stewards of. This farmstead has been using organic practices for fifty years. We are a shelter for birds, mammals and bees. The campsites are on a flat, grassy surface with 110 electrical hook up and water hydrant that is supplied by our private well. Because we have been organically certified, our 160 feet deep well has been tested for the last twenty years for ecoli and nitrates. Our water is very safe. It is high in iron. They are located in an area that we used to grow vegetables and where we graze sheep.Rolling Acres Farm is located in southwest Iowa just off Interstate 80. We have lived here for over fifty years and have farmed using organic practices. Our campsites are on 3 acre level grassy area with an aging apple orchard. We describe our space as a sanctuary surrounded by fields of corn and soybeans. There are 20 to 30 species of birds throughout the acreage. There is an outdoor toilet nearby. Guests will need to be self contained take waste with them and leave no trace. The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful on this site. Walking and exploring is encouraged.
