Breathe Sweet Camp
Absolutely amazing! We had the best time ever with Daph and Patience and all the animals. Above and beyond, can’t wait to come back.

Booked last minute with no problems at all. Liked the site with the picnic table and loved that there was an actual bathroom with a shower available! Host was welcoming and kind!

Communication was great with the host ahead of the stay. She even came out to direct us as we drove in at dark. All the campsites had a fire ring and were spaced out generously in the field. The bathroom was warm and homey, and the hot coffee and tea selection in the morning was a real treat!

Fantastic spot! It has a welcoming environment, with amenities like a nice indoor bathroom and coffee in the morning, and the animals make it fun for a family. Definitely recommend.

We loved this spot even though we only stayed the night. Great spot for a night or several. Breath is very welcoming and a great host. Bathroom facilities are clean and just what you need when you’re tent camping.

We needed a place to camp last minute after our plans fell through and the host gave us a very quick response which was a huge blessing! She helped us navigate to the property and was super accommodating when we got there. Private bathroom and shower, as well as coffee in the morning! We were able to drive all the way to our site, the grass was a little tall but not unbearable. There was a decent amount of road noise as the highway is close by but overall would highly recommend this site! Horses and kittens even greeted us in the morning.

Breathe and her Granddaughter we’re super friendly and welcoming. We left it all to the last minute and they we’re very helpful. The sites are well distanced and have a lovely view over rolling farmland with a beautiful old stage coach road now a bike path behind the property. We explored it and found ourselves walking amongst hundreds of Monarch butterfly’s. They also dropped off some fresh farm eggs for us in the morning. Very thoughtful hosts!

I stopped by with my dog on a road trip and this was a great spot to camp out for the night. We booked late in the day and came after dark but the host was super accommodating, bringing in her horse so we could use the camp space last minute and then meeting us with her truck lights on and directing us to our pick of the sites since no one else was staying there that night. Nice level ground for the tents and fire pits and picnic benches made it easy to set up camp. The Wabash trail is just behind the sites and made for a beautiful morning walk before we hit the road again. The bathroom/snack space available to campers also far exceeded my wildest expectations; coffee and snacks and a full bathroom with towels and shampoo, all pristine; nicer than a hotel’s bathroom, honestly. Overall a fantastic place to stay; I’m so grateful we had the chance to.

Nice meadow but if it were fully booked would be way too crowded. Extremely unbearably noisy all night long, due to giant fans running in grain silos nearby. That is seasonal but not a plus.
Like being inside an aircraft engine.
Not mowed, and did not appreciate the Trump
signs.

A really great experience. Great restroom facilities and a gorgeous campsite. The host was gracious and welcoming. Worth going to Iowa for!

Lovely spot! We felt very welcomed and safe here. We took a walk through the grounds and were greeted by kittens, horses, and chickens. Plus the monarch butterfly migration was occurring in the area when we were there! Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Daph and the Breathe Sweet Camp were an absolute joy for me, my wife, and our 2 little dogs. There was plenty of space for many campers and the bathroom, fresh farm eggs, and coffee were great touches. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Breathe is a very nice and warm host! I got fast response every time when I contact with her. The time we arrived there was dark but Breathe made it very easy for us to find them. The farm is very clean and easy to find, and there were 4 campsites in total but the time we were there was only us. Super private, quiet and nice. Pretty night sky. Dog friendly. My dog was super happy playing with the horses in the morning.

Breathe Sweet Camp
This was our third occasion staying at Breath Sweet Camp and it was totally relaxing. Daph communicates promptly and accurately, the property is well kept, and the facilities (bathroom, grounds) are clean and feel safe.
There are a number of hidden gems in the area: a long walking / running / biking trail behind the property, horses and the cutest kittens, amazing sunsets, clear views of the stars above, and the sounds of wildlife all around.

Street noise a little daunting but just early in the night. The space was very comfortable and beautiful like the Iowa countryside. My host was very friendly and I would definitely stay again if come back this way.

We had a great stay while driving back from Colorado to Illinois. Plenty of space, very quiet and peaceful. There is a bathroom available inside, just a short walk from the campsites, and the host had coffee ready in the morning. We also walked a couple miles on the trail that runs behind the property and it was beautiful.

Spot was great, quiet and easily accessible and near some interesting history and roadside stops.
The area is also near many terrace farms as well.
Our host was swift on updating us as weather was quite rainy, she promptly let us know site conditions as weather evolved.

We had a wonderful stay. It was a rainy night but we felt safe and secluded. We loved that it was right one the Wabash Trail, and went for an early morning ride. We will definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the area.

Breath Sweet Camp was a perfect oasis during a long drive across the country. I felt safe and cosy on the property, plus the extra amenities inside (a hot shower and super clean bathroom) were such a nice bonus. The host was helpful and responsive, and I could tell she was taking careful considerations for the health of any guests.

We had a great time at Breath Sweet! They were very accommodating with our reservation and late arrival. We had a lot of space and privacy and curious horses in the distance. My boys loved watching the kittens. Next time we’ll try the bell tent!
