We are a small farm using regenerative practices and permaculture ethics. We are still early on in our journey of working with the land. Our land has been part of our family's homestead for close to one hundred years. Enjoy walks around the farm where you'll find many places to relax, meditate or simply enjoy the views. Guided tours can be arranged and you can explore the gardens, orchard, different methods of raising chickens. We're always building and trying new things to optimize our property and care for the land. There are many great restaurants only 20 minutes away including Mexican, Thai, a brew pub, a winery and a great coffee shop.

Set up your tent on our freshly mulched site. You'll have access to a picnic table and fire pit with cooking grate. Near by you can enjoy a large garden planted with growing sunflowers, pumpkins and beans, and a meditation area. Also provided is a composting toilet in a private tent. Majority of wildlife is lots of birds, squirrels, we have 3 friendly farm cats. At night listen for the crickets, bullfrogs and owls.

Honeysuckle campsite
Dan and his family were amazing hosts! They were so helpful and kind our whole stay - showing us around and even sharing some eggs from their farm. The site is a good size for several tents and 2 cars - we had 2 2-person tents - and the glamping tent is very comfortable. We especially liked the picnic bench with umbrella and fire pit with grate for cooking. This is a very relaxing spot!

Honeysuckle campsite
I booked this spot months out for the 2024 eclipse. Dan was very communicative the whole time, and even though I ended up changing plans at the last minute, our friends still stayed at the site. They said he was very sweet, and gave them a tour of the farm and some eggs. I hope to see the place myself sometime.

The Mulberry site
My friends and I had a wonderful time at Howling Moon Homestead! Dan was commutative in the days leading up to our stay, and helped us get situated once we arrived with our camper van. There was a camp toilet provided right next to our site, and Dan brought us more firewood once we started running low. Dan, along with his wife and kids, invited us mushroom foraging in the morning, and then all joined us in the afternoon to watch the total solar eclipse right from our campsite. The property itself was huge with only one other group on site who were situated quite a ways from us. We would absolutely recommend Howling Moon Homestead to anyone looking to camp in the area, and we would 100% come back again! Thank you for everything!!!!

We enjoyed very much to camp on Dan’s land. It was quiet and beautiful. Dan and his family were very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended!
