Site was charming, with plenty of forest cover and a pond. Folks were very cordial. Hook-ups worked. The campground sits adjacent to the highway and there are somewhat busy train tracks. But, honestly, the site was quiet enough for a restful stay. My only negative would be that the campground is comparatively expensive.

This is a nice RV park. Well maintained. Most spots are shaded. The beer/wine patio for the evening was so great. We had a blast meeting the other campers staying here. The hosts were great as well. Yes there is a train track close by and you do hear the train horn, but it is not that loud.

I love the private tiny lake where you can swim, relax on a floatie, fish, & kayak (rentals available).
They have an assortment of ice cream to purchase from a freezer next to the office that's a great treat on a hot day!
For the adults, they have a private big back deck where you can relax, visit, & purchase wine and beer at 6pm.
Not a fan of the multiple trains running on the nearby track during the night.
Good areas to walk your dogs, or play with others in the fenced dog park.

Picturesque, clean, comfortable...even the shower floors have radiated heat! Swimming in the lake, kayaks and paddle boats. Very enjoyable.

What a wonderful place to stay! Staff was amazing and we loved our campsite. Took a paddleboat ride, played cornhole, chess and enjoyed a campfire with friends and family. Quiet, clean and so fun for our dog to have a little doggie park. A hidden gem! We will definitely return!

Beautiful spot. There is highway noise at the lake but the campground was quiet. The train comes through several times during the day but we didn’t hear it during the night. Loved floating in the small lake, fishing and seeing the turtles. We really enjoyed the wine bar and Mark, the bartender, was so welcoming. Loved the mobile massage set up on Sunday. Linsey was awesome. We will definitely be coming back.

Clean bathrooms, great shade, decent spots.
Negatives: this is a very small pond, don’t let “lake” fool you. Right next to the train tracks where they lay on their horn all through the night. If you stay here, bring some ear plugs!

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Even when problems arose on my end they were very patient with me. This location also offers plenty of things to do including a lake with boat rentals, games for kids and adults, and the site along with bathrooms and showers were kept very clean. Lastly, the firewood was the least expensive I have seen at one of these types of resorts.

This was a great campground for a family. Between swimming, fishing, and feeding the turtles, my kids (ages 9,11,13,15) really had a great time. The trains were not a problem. The hosts were super helpful and friendly. I appreciated that it wasn’t overly fancy, everything works, was clean, and especially glad for the free showers and dish washing station! Ended up extending our time and using it as a base to explore the surrounding hiking and biking areas. Also enjoyed the evening deck gatherings for well priced drinks and watching the kids swim.

Beautiful RV Park. The facilities are outstanding, including the deck and bar that are reserved for RV customers. The site is really convenient ... right off the main highway but far enough not to be bothered by traffic noise. And it's very reasonably priced and run by a very nice, helpful and accommodating couple.

The people were great, so helpful and the location in the pine tree was lovely. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was a lot of trains go by and at night it's noisy. I must say that I did get somewhat used to it by the second night. I would recommend the place and would go back if I was in the area again.

Well after reading some of the other reviews I kind of laughed. I can't count how many campgrounds we've stayed at that are next to train tracks. We really aren't bothered by the sound or motion of the trains. And the cows, for heavens sake we are in the country, go back to town or Walmart.
The was absolutely no smell and this is a beautiful campground with a beautiful pond.
The owners are so accommodating it was amazing!!!
I can't say enough about this little hidden gem except you can almost miss the turn in off the highway!!
They have full hookups and are pet friendly. We camped in a 37' fifth wheel for 3 days and will definitely be back.
We are from California and do not know the owners we found this place on the allstays app.

Peaceful lake lies just below the campground and when we arrived the dock was full of happy families. The kids were in paddle boats and playing volleyball and soccer with their parents. Later, as the shadows came and the night grew nigh, families trekked to their camp sites and couples made their way to the wine bar. Our site backed onto a grassy hill just above the lake and we enjoyed watching the families and listening to the birds. Later we threw the frisbee to our dog in the off-leash area, so she was happy too.
Train sounds? Yes, but they lasted only a moment. Then the bird songs began again. We slept very well here at BlueLake.
For those who really like more train sounds - try Golden Municipal Campground in BC, or the Ship Creek CG in Anchorage. Way worse.

Not a bad place to stay to keep out of the rain. We stayed in the camping cabin and as the name suggests, you are basically camping in a cabin. There was a bed, a mini fridge, and a small heater but not much else besides that. We booked the cabin kind of last minute so maybe that's why there was no being on the bed. There were community bathrooms and showers which were free to use as well as coin laundry. Would stay again but next time might reserve the furnished cabins

Wonderful RV Park! We will stay here again. Priced reasonably. Nicely designed, spaced, landscape. Cute little lake. Very helpful owners/ managers. Train not too close, we heard it a few times but not nearly as much as another campground on Hwy 2. We’ll definitely be back.

Been Full time for 12 years, and travel 6 months every year during the summer. Heidi and James, owner/managers live here and are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. There are little amenities, like giant chess board on the lawn, work-out bike at lakes edge, and friendly helpful staff to ensure a pleasant stay.
