Honaunau Farm is located on the slopes of the Mauna Loa Volcano overlooking Kealakekua Bay and Honaunau National Park. It is a peaceful setting with sweeping views at 1400ft in elevation and nearby forests that stretch to the top of the volcano. Lush surroundings cradle you with sights of the ocean throughout the farm.

Honaunau Farm is a 7-acre organic, regenerative farm with sweeping views of Kealakekua Bay and lush tropical surroundings. The Teahouse provides a cozy setting for a variety of visitors, whether youʻre looking for some R and R or a spot to launch from to visit island destinations. The Teahouse provides you with a King-size bed, a small kitchenette, a sitting area, and enough floor space to do your yoga or stretching. There is a shared outside sauna and shower with detached bathrooms (option for flushing or composting toilet). The Teahouse also has a private sitting area located above the cottage, which is a lovely spot to enjoy expansive sunset views with an evening drink or a fabulous place to watch the sun come over the hill while enjoying your morning beverage. As a guest on the farm, you will also have access to our yoga room where you can stretch out after a long day of exploring or move your body in the morning before your day starts. There are some meditation cushions for a quiet sit as well as some weights if you want to get your move on. In addition, we have a large event deck that can also be used for taking in the amazing views of Kealakekua Bay or the serenity of the moment. We invite guests to enjoy the beauty of the farm with our diversity of fruit trees, macadamia nut orchard, medicinal plants, and farm animals. We have over a hundred different varieties of fruiting trees and medicinal plants to explore. Our location is ideal for exploring the Big Island's best adventures. We are 30 min. from Kailua-Kona. Ten minutes straight down the road, we have multiple ocean access options for great swimming, snorkeling, and water activities. A 90-minute drive south will get you to Volcano National Park to see one of the world's most active volcanoes. In the opposite direction, 90 minutes north will take you to Mauna Kea, the world's tallest mountain from the ocean floor to summit. We also have some great food options within a 5-10 minute drive from the farm and as well as a fully stocked, locally owned grocery store 8 minutes away for all your needs. Beautiful Home w/ Ocean Views

If you are looking for a unique, beautiful, and comfortable place to stay that offers endless ocean views, look no further. The Main House at Honaunau Farm has 3 bedrooms with, 2 queen beds, 1 double, and a large sofa in the living room. We can provide a couple more sleeping pads and linens for kiddos or adaptable adults which allows for the space to accommodate 8 folks family style. (please note that there is an additional charge for any guests over 6 in the main house. In addition, the main house is not recommended for children under 8 years old.) The main house is a perfect spot to enjoy the endless ocean views and South Kona Landscape. The farm is situated at 1400 ft in elevation which means we have delightful temperatures year-round. There is no need for air conditioning or heating with evening temps in the 60s and daytime temps in the 70s. Another great benefit is the farms' proximity to Kealakekua Bay and Honaunau National Park. We are a short 10-minute drive to both of these famous Big Island locations. The coastline near the farm offers ample opportunities for snorkeling, surfing, sunbathing, and other water activities. The town of Captain Cook is also less than 10 minutes away with a well-stocked diversified grocery store, hardware store, and local eateries. Kailua Kona is about a 25-30 minute drive and has lots of options for eating, shopping, and enjoying. In the opposite direction, Volcano National Park is about an hour and 30-minute drive. The yoga/meditation/workshop multi-use retreat space is behind and adjacent to the main house and is a community space. There are yoga mats and meditation cushions available. ( In some instances the yoga space may be rented for exclusive use.) There is also the Teahouse behind the main house which can be rented along with the main house for larger groups. Zen Apartment on Farm

Watch beautiful sunsets over the ocean or gaze at the stars at night from the large patio (lanai). The apartment has one king bed, one queen bed, and a sofa bed. It is designed comfortably for 4 but can accommodate a group of 5. It also has access to laundry facilities located in the farmʻs workspace/kitchen on the first floor. This second floor apartment is above the farmʻs workspace/kitchen. *This is a hosted rental and the owners live on site. We enjoy meeting our guests and sharing local wisdom and tips.

My favourite camping ever !
Honaunau Farm Tea House Stay
I loved the camping site, super clean bathroom, spacious shower, paper toilet so soft, dogs are very cute, convenient electrical power charge, drinkable water accessible for free, a cozy place to cook our meals after sunset. Macadamias and mango from trees were delicious! Our host was welcoming and well prepared for our stay.
