Off-Grid Oasis Retreat in the Heart of Puna, Hawai‘i Escape to a unique, off-grid oasis nestled on a tropical fruit farm beside one of Hawai‘i’s great volcanoes. This is more than a place to stay — it’s a lifestyle experience set in the wild and mystical region of Puna, the last frontier left in Hawaii. Here, freedom and the spirit of Aloha thrive. We live close to nature — outdoors by day, indoors by night — in harmony with the land and under the watchful presence of Pele, the revered goddess of volcanoes. The property features 18 varieties of tropical fruit trees, offering a literal taste of paradise in what we lovingly call our Garden of Eatin’. Nearby attractions include: Walk up the sides of a volcanic cone and stare down into the throat of the lava tube that erupted in 2018, just 10 minutes from us. A clothing-optional black sand beach perfect for working on your tan lines. Geothermal hot ponds for natural volcanic soaks, just 15 mins away. This is Hawai‘i, raw and real — for those seeking connection, peace, and a touch of wild magic.Super Private cabin on a 3 acre Jungle Yoga retreat. 10 minutes from Pahoa town. All off-grid, fast inet, hot shower, shared kitchen, Yoga Lounge, and composting toilet. Lots of tropical fruit trees. Cabin has solar power. Things to do 15 minutes away: Clothing optional Beach, geo-thermal hot ponds, drum circle, Ecstatic dance 3 days a week, volcano viewing.
