Set up camp under a blanket of stars on a small farm complete with high speed wifi access, on-grid electricity, unlimited drinking water, a covered outdoor kitchen (equipped with a grill/burner, air fryer, pots, pans, utensils, cups and plates), tented picnic area, yoga mat for your practice, outdoor shower, and compost toliet. The ocean is just a few minutes down the road and a short drive to Pahoa or Hilo. Please bring your own tent and sleeping gear! Car camping is accepted too. Communal kitchen and picnic table for dining and working.  Additionally, you can order breakfast, lunch or dinner if you reach out in advance, just let us know your dietary needs or preferences and we’ll provide a farm to table meal just for you! Please Note: The area is not covered and it does rain. But there are plenty of trees to attach a tarp to in case you would like a tarp over your tent. In addition to the tent space, there is a cabin and a dome (based on availability) that can sleep up to two people incase you prefer to rent that option!  There is NO CLEANING FEE for campers which means this is a self-lead stay and we ask that you wipe down all surfaces and rinse any dishes prior to use. Due to outdoor elements and conditions we ask our community to help out whenever you see fit to keep costs down. Also if you want to get your hands in nature, just ask! Keaukaha (numerous beach parks, ocean ponds and swimmable tidepools about 35 minutes). - WITHIN 1.5-3HRS: Green Sand Beach and South Point are approx. 2.5 hours. Mauna Kea Mauna Loa 1.5 hrs., and Kona 2.5 hours.  Ask about excursions! PS: Our dog Olena is super friendly and loves people and dogs, she will give kisses and cuddles. Ducks and chickens on property too. Friendly dogs that are good with farm animals allowed, no cats. PPS: We do supply garbage bins however we ask that you take your garbage with you, thank you! Enjoy your stay in a red cedar wood, hexagonal 100sqft. cabin with a comfortable full size bed. Perfect for a solo traveler, or couple, seeking a minimalist approach to semi-offgrid living with high speed wifi, on-grid electricity, solar lights for all walking paths, unlimited drinking water, a small fridge/freezer, outdoor shower with excellent water pressure, yoga mat for your practice, a large outdoor kitchen (equipped with propane grill/burner, oven, air fryer, portable laundry bucket, electric fan, toaster, pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups), a picnic area, and an outhouse just steps away with a compost toliet. Shower towels are NOT included however you can rent one. Fridge/freezer available upon request, high speed wifi, lamps, fan, high speed wifi, lamps, and fan. You can also order additional baked goods, breakfast, lunch or dinner (upon availability)!  Are you looking to give back to the land? Book two nights in the cabin and volunteer on the farm for a minimum of 10 hours to receive an extra night or a meal exchange. We appreciate travelers who volunteer on our farm by helping us out with hand weeding or a specific project! The ocean is just a few minutes down the road and we're a short drive to Pahoa or Hilo. Justine welcomes you to her tropical farm with her full heart! To be out, hearing the frogs, surrounded by serenity was just what my body and heart needed. I was treated to her talents in the kitchen and it was such a treat! Being at this working farm was such a joy and i can't wait to come back!

I had the greatest time here, it will be hard to summarize! Justine is an excellent communicator and I had no trouble finding my way to her place and around the campsite. As a host, she is generous and welcoming–sharing tips and travel suggestions, and just being warm and easy to talk to. The space is well thought-out and had everything I needed to camp out of my small tent (I had my own camp stove, so didn't use the outdoor kitchen, but made good use of the picnic table area, electricity and outdoor shower.) I really appreciated the farm tour, tasting some of the land's treats and being able to feed the chickens my food scraps. I added on a breakfast which was deliciously made with local ingredients, and wish I could have extended my trip to stay longer. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe camping here. Overall: great location, good deal for what you get, and best host!

We booked car camping but were so lucky to have upgraded to the dome! Justine's farm offered everything we needed for a restful stay. Car camping would have been fun too but we definitely enjoyed the clamping option to sleep in a comfortable bed at night. Temperature was perfect in the dome at night, and it felt so breezy even without a fan! We had some much needed amazing sleep during our five days on Justine's beautiful land. She's an amazing chef and shared so many tips on island life with us, which will help us to start planing our own home on the island. We were really well taken care of, and appreciate everything Justine had to offer! Can't wait to return when we visit again.

Excellent tent camping site: quiet, secure, tables, power outlet, kettle, etc. Justine is a wonderful host as well: responsive, friendly, welcoming, lots of positive energy, and willing to share her extensive knowledge of local attractions. We also greatly enjoyed her farm to table dinner.

Absolutely amazing and out of the world experience with inspiring and beautiful human being - Justine. Loved the space, the food and got elevated vibrations in this beautiful piece of land. I definitely recommend staying here for a couple of night to feel the energy of this island, hear a personal story of following the dream and being true to oneself, connecting with nature and embracing the love of mother Gaia.

Our experience with Justine was great. She was a very kind and sweet host who provided clear instructions and helpful recommendations. Our experience with the campsite, however, wasn’t the best. Although the campsite itself was quite charming, it seemed like the common areas hadn’t been cleaned in a while. All of the kitchen appliances were exposed to the elements, and they looked weathered. We didn’t feel comfortable using them without giving them a deep clean first, and unfortunately, we didn’t have time for that. When we mentioned this to Justine, she was very understanding and kindly offered us hot water from her own kitchen, but we didn’t want to bother her and were short on time. The peat moss for covering our #2 waste was stored in a large garbage bin that wasn’t weatherproof. Because it rained overnight, the moss became soaking wet and unusable. There also wasn’t much left in the bin—only about halfway full—so it was hard to reach and scoop out. We camped in tents on a small hill. Since the property is located in a tropical forest, be prepared for large bugs. They’re definitely around, and of course, that’s not something the host can control. We truly appreciated how responsive and helpful Justine was with our requests. I’m confident she would have addressed the issues if we had stayed longer and had the chance to give her more detailed feedback.

Justine’s camp is beautiful!! Well stocked kitchen, outhouse and hot water shower!! I appreciated being a bit out of town as you get to wake up with the birds. Not a far drive from hilo and just down the road is a beautiful cliff spot. Justine is a kind and generous host. She gave great suggestions on best places to eat and farmers markets to see. Honestly just let her know what you hope to see and she'll help make it a reality!

Overall we had a great experience, host was very nice. Unfortunately the campsite was near a lot of traffic. You could hear the neighbors and cars at night. Didn’t feel as private as we were expecting.

We had a really lovely experience at Justine’s labor of love Hipcamp. She’s an excellent hostess. The tiny cabin was perfect, and it was very cool to walk the grounds and see all that was growing - oranges, bananas, avocados, coconuts, sugar cane…The view of the stars at night was amazing. Also, Justine is a wonderful chef. The meals she made were fantastic. Very highly recommend!

Justine was an excellent host. The space is wonderful and cute, and the dinner add on was incredible. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an escape from the typical tourism on the islands and itching for a Farm to table escape with a bit of camping fun.

Really lovely site You can hear the frog and the sounds of the forest in the night. Outdoor kitchen with a propane grill and a stove burner. The toilet is off grid And there’s an outdoor Hot water shower. We arrived kind of late, but Justine was flexible with our arrival. We got a dozen eggs and they were delicious!

Justine has created a tranquil space that is very welcoming. She was helpful in figuring out where I could park my camper van and didn’t mind that I would be coming in late after an awesome tour to the top of Mauna Kea. I highly recommend staying at Justine’s little spot of paradise!

Our group of 4 stayed at both the dome and the tiny home. We had a wonderful time and fell asleep to the sounds of the forest each night. The shower was wonderful as well. We did the farm to table dinner and breakfast option and both were incredible! Could not recommend the food enough. The location was a perfect jumping off point to get to Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. Justine had great recommendations as well for things to do/restaurants in the area.

Justine was such a great host. So attentive and caring. Always checking to make sure we had everything we needed and were taken care of. She helped us out when we had any questions or needed any recommendations for things to do. The cabin was very cozy, very clean, and I felt very safe here! Justine’s food was also amazing, so I highly recommend trying one of her fresh home cooked meals!!
