Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
Thunderwood Ranch is a flower farm and vineyard I'm building from scratch on a few acres within a forest reserve and pollinator habitat. Come and relax in nature while forest friends tweet and flutter around you. The farm is home to colorful migratory bird species, herds of friendly deer and you might even spot Fiona, our resident red fox. We are located just around the corner from beautiful Lake Oconee in Eatonton, Georgia. There are boat rentals available in the area and lots of great spots for fishing at the lake. Feel like you’re a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city without being far away from modern amenities. Publix grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops, a coworking space, and a movie theater with drink service are within 5 minutes and the Ritz Carlton resort is just 15 minutes from the farm.Our field at the top of the hill offers a sunny, flat grassy spot to park your small self contained RV for the weekend. We can offer water if you need to fill your tanks and can offer an extension cord if you need a little power. There are lots of trees to hang a hammock while you relax and feel like you are in a secluded forest, but only 5 minutes from the best amenities that Lake Oconee has to offer! There is a shopping center with a Publix grocery store, movie theater and restaurants and the lake is right around the corner. We are actively working on improving the property and love to hear any ideas to make it better for our guests!

Please use your bathroom in your RV. We unfortunately don't have a dump station on site, but there are options in Madison.
