We had a wonderful time tent camping here! It was very private and peaceful! Largest camping site we’ve ever had! The swing pictured in the listing was broken when we arrived which was a disappointment for our kiddos but we will definitely be back for more camping trips and maybe it’ll be fixed then! The creek was a wonderful spot to have coffee with the large rocks for sitting!

Beautiful spot overlooking the River. We visited High Falls state park, which was a really beautiful park. Not far to Jackson for Fresh Air BBQ. Overall a very nice site close to some great places to visit.

The site was big, pleasantly tucked away, and I could hear the stream from my hammock. Loved smelling the pine needles as I got out of my car. I did hear some distant coyotes and highway noise, but the white noise of the water blocked most of it. Felt very safe and unbothered despite knowing some other properties were nearby. Will definitely be back!

We stayed one night and it was amazing ! Look for the hip camp sign at the gate ! Perfect isolated location. Quick walk to the creek and if you take a quick walk down the path on the opposite side is the river ! Breathtaking views ! Relaxing , quiet ! Fire ring available ! Very shaded ! 10/10

Really nice spot next to the creek, We stayed 2 days, stormed both nights and was greeted by lots of frogs. Early the second morning I was sitting by the creek and had a deer run past super close, definitely wasn't expecting that. there was a dog barking in the distance during the day now and then it wasn't an issue but it is something that others mentioned. campsite was clean. directions were clear.

The sight was beautiful and by the lake. I followed the gps and was a little concerned because it felt like a very private road with houses full of no trespassing signs, but if you just continue to the end there’s a gate with a little sign that says “Hipcamp” from there it’s pretty straightforward.
There were noisy dogs for a large amount of the afternoon, but they didn’t come over to me or my pup, nor did we see them. Just loud.
Overall it was an alright place to crash for a night during a roadtrip

Hey there, first of all we wanna say that we had a great experience but we do want to give a detailed review just because we know whenever we’re looking for a campsite we want genuine reviews. The campsite was large next to a beautiful flowing creek. Not really swimmable, but you can go in the water. If you are looking for seclusion, it is secluded there is a dog off in the distance that barks at any and everything. It probably barked 15% of the time. That’s just being honest it did not interfere but a tiny bit. There was space to walk and explore, which I really liked. We were able to fit a tent, pop-up gazebo and outhouse our vehicle fire area and games. Large campsite for sure. Being out there in the middle of the woods there were minimal bugs for this time of year. On one side of the area where you are camping is a creek and if you walk to the other part of the land that is available, there is a river. We spent majority of the time at the creek where you can jump from rock to rock we had a 14-year-old with us and he enjoyed that experience. Very shaded because of the trees, which was great. But sun was able to peek through. Very clean. No reception so do not think you’re gonna get two bars. For me that was the worst thing. Other than the dog you completely getting what you pay for seclusion primitive camping and a great area to have good family time.

Absolutely beautiful! It was so peaceful and serene I ended up extending a few extra nights. I would recommend this site to anyone who enjoys camping!!! Great for first time campers too. This was my first real camping experience.

We decided to leave a night early from our stay. One of your neighbor’s dogs kept coming down to our campsite. After calling the vet number on his tag and taking him home twice, we became concerned that this was going to continue throughout the night.
After returning him the second time, a second dog from the neighborhood started wandering the street and followed the first dog. Although the dog seemed friendly, it started drawing attention from neighbors and other dogs in the area.
This was not the peaceful, relaxing experience I was expecting for my family. Unfortunately, the situation made us uncomfortable enough that we chose to leave early.

This is a secluded and private camp with abundant white noise from the water, which I loved. It was quiet and easy to find and it is convenient to I-75 if you are looking for a stopover on the way somewhere. I sure intend to come back to this one some day.

This was a great site that is close to Atlanta for a quick overnight. There was plenty of room to get our teardrop trailer in place. Plenty of level ground for an additional tent if needed. The site is situated between a river and a good sized rocky creek. Our dogs enjoyed splashing around!
