Rest And Relax Retreat

This site was perfect! Ralph had everything set up for us in advance a canopy, chairs, hammock, fire pit, and all the wood we could need. Loved the trickle sound of the stream at night. Was surprised the price included all the extras. The common area was brand new and clean. We would definitely camp here again or in one of the cabins.

Another great, relaxing camping trip ! I love this place.. When you are here, you can't help but feel refreshed and renewed. The sound of the creek at night, helps to rock you to sleep and you wake up feeling reinvigorated ! Thanks again Ralph ! Your place is always amazing !!

This was a great choice for our first hipcamp. Ralph is a great host and goes out of his way to make sure guests have everything they need. Kept us supplied with firewood the entire stay. Common house and bathrooms were always clean. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing Hospitality

Ralph has put together the perfect camping spot. Falling asleep by a babbling creek beside the fire - under the stars - was the best way I can think of to end a day. We climbed the hill out back to the top where a picnic table was waiting. The smokeless fire pit was so neat.

I had a great time, resting and relaxing in my tent! Ralph, the host, was extremely accommodating. The views were absolutely spectacular! The fresh air was great! Waking up in the morning, drinking coffee next to the creek! Resting at night, creekside, beside a campfire was glorious! The common area was extremely clean and inviting. Being able to go over and take a hot shower, while recharge my power station was great! Thank you so much Ralph! I will be back very soon and… I recommend this place easily, to anyone who just wants to rest, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Go, and recharge your body, mine and soul!

Best camping experience we have had

Ralph is the perfect host. He provided us with free wood and had everything set up for us when we got in. Once we were settled he checked in to make sure we were pleased with the place, which we were completely! He walked his dog and checked the perimeter trail at night and keeps a quiet, clean, and peaceful place. We have camped many places but I will say this has to be my favorite. The bath house is the nicest I’ve ever seen. 2 full baths and an awesome living space to hang out in. We absolutely loved it here. Lots of privacy and right on the river. We got to sleep hearing the river flow all night. Perfect camping trip

Best of hipcamp

We booked a campsite at another place and when people started acting shady we decided to leave for our safety and found this spot. We arrived after dark which I try not to do but we had nowhere else to go and with short notice Ralph was extremely welcoming and understanding of our situation. This experience was one of a kind. I've used hipcamp all over the country and this experience was something we will never forget. The campsites are spaced out along a beautiful piece of land with firewood, zero gravity chairs, hammock, picnic tables, canopy and amazing common area with very clean bathrooms that had showers with hot water! In the short time he had to get prepared for us he had everything ready for us and gave us a tour of where everything was. Ralph took us down to the site, got our fire going, gave us a lantern, and set up our chairs so we could set up camp again that evening. He even had towels and rags waiting for us to take a shower the next morning! If you want to truly rest and relax this man's goal is to make it happen for you. He has put a lot of effort into this place and it shows from the moment you arrive to when you leave. Don't pass this place up if you are looking for somewhere to camp in the area especially if you've been camping for several day's already like us and in need of a shower! We will be coming back for years to come and appreciate Ralph sharing this great place with us!

What an amazing stay! There are too many good things to say from the value to the quality and care put into this place. Ralph has thoroughly planned the camp sites ensuring everything is well thought out. The tall grasses create a great buffer for sound and privacy, and walking paths are very well maintained and lights are clearly directing you around the campus. New and spotless amenities! (Bathhouse, hammock, chairs, canopy, etc) very clean and even provided coffee in the common house. He even hand delivered wood and started our fire, AND setup a canopy over our hammock because of the rain prior to arrival. He was an amazing host. We were napping RIGHT next to the creek. The peaceful sounds were so soothing. I’m a pretty big critic and this place FARRRR exceeded my expectations. I only wish we could have stayed longer, but we’ll be back! Places like this make me so grateful for Hipcamp!

Camping at creekside hammocks

Ralph’s land is beautiful—a bird watcher’s paradise. All sites are right on the water. The bath house was clean and nicely appointed. He offered to provide our wood for the fire, but we had our own. He was very kind and very accommodating! We will camp at his place again!

Ralph was an amazing host — incredibly attentive and thoughtful. To be honest, we didn’t have many expectations for our quick weekend getaway. But boy, were we wrong. From the moment we arrived, Ralph, the host, came out to greet us and gave us a quick tour of the shared house. Let’s talk about the bathroom first, squeaky clean doesn’t even begin to describe it. Somehow, it stays spotless every time we and other campers used it. I think Ralph has cleaning fairies working overtime because there was never a trace of dust or dirt on the sink. Our campsite was also clean, spacious, and right next to a peaceful creek. The site came with a big covered pergola, two camping chairs, grill, and a picnic table set. And did I mention the included hammock? Literally was a total game changer for my afternoon nap, I don’t even remember the last time I’ve slept like that. Every morning, Ralph’s friendly dogs and goats would come to say hi across the creek. Ralph checked in on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. He’s the kind of host who genuinely cares about your comfort and experience, can’t ask for more than that. There’s also a hiking trail nearby, but since Ralph warned us it was a bit steep and we forgot our hiking shoes, we opted out but definitely saving for our next stay. If you're reading this, let this be your sign to book your stay. You won't regret it :))

We loved our campsite at Rest and Relax retreat! Beautiful spot with everything we needed already there waiting on us! The bathroom was super clean and nice. Ralph was a wonderful host and even started our campfires for us. The creek and meadows of wildflowers made for the perfect spot. We enjoyed visiting with his goats and dogs also. Would definitely recommend, and we will be back!

The perfect place to kick back, relax and enjoy camping (with all the extra luxuries you may not want to pack with you!). Ralph has gone above and beyond to create a welcoming and comfortable space to welcome campers. Whether you want a cabin or a peaceful creekside spot, you will love your time in his space! The hot showers are clean and inside a comfortable common house where you can grab a coffee and reset. The campsites are private and have so many thoughtful extras like the solo stove, hammock, BBQ grill, anti-gravity chairs, bird feeders, shade/rain cover, picnic table and a beautiful environment -- surrounded by fields and the best views of the stars. Close to so many great little towns with good food, groceries and anything else you might need. We plan to be regular visitors!

We had a great stay. Such a beautiful place! Our campsite was right next to a babbling brook and had everything: metal fire pit, covered area with picnic table and reclining camp chairs. The community room/bathhouse had A/C, leather sofas, a workspace and two immaculate, modern bathrooms. Ralph took great care of us. Brought us firewood each night,

Creekside Hammocks #2

We had such a wonderful stay! Ralph went above and beyond as a host—he was welcoming, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time. The campsite was peaceful, well-kept, and exactly what we were looking for. He thought of everything, providing amenities like stocked bathrooms, firewood, chairs, canopies, and even a hammock, which made our stay extra comfortable. Our dogs especially loved splashing around in the creek—it was such a bonus for them! You can really tell Ralph cares about making the experience special. Highly recommend staying here!

Camping on Ralph's property was absolutely amazing! He goes above and beyond to ensure you know your way around, making your fire, and providing amenities like stocked bathrooms, firewood, chairs, canopies, a hammock, and even a gas grill for community use. The property was beautiful, close to the city, and had short walking trails with pretty flowers! Being able to fall asleep to the creek and wake up with the goats was such a blessing and Ralph was such an amazing host to have my camping trip with as a young solo lady.

My First Time Camping - PERFECT

Wow – this was everything I hoped for as a first-time camper in the Peach State. The retreat felt like a peaceful sanctuary. Private campsites, cozy hammocks beside, pop-up canopies, zero-gravity chairs, charcoal grills and fire pits all there to make the weekend effortless yet memorable. LOVED the indoor common house: spacious, air‑conditioned and clean bathrooms. I'm very picky about bathrooms and knowing that I'd be camping for the first time I had very low expectations but this was perfect. Only a short drive to local grocery stores, restaurants...etc. The stars were incredible. I can't believe it. I have never seen anything like that before.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my stay! The spot was immaculate, and the view was spectacular. All of the provided equipment was excellent and helped to make the stay so enjoyable. The creek is a little chilly but invigorating, particularly on a hot day. It made all the difference that there are indoor bathrooms with nice, oversized showers, and some space to lounge inside, and the cooking amenities were a dream to use. As an added bonus, Ralph is truly a treasure, genuinely one of a kind!
