Venice Two Tall Pines RV campsite
We loved our stay at David and Brenda’s! They live in a friendly, quiet, safe neighborhood, close to many different beaches. They gave us recommendations on places to go and where to find shark teeth and were always quick to answer any questions we had. I would definitely stay there again!

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at David and Brenda’s. We experienced their warm hospitality and quiet neighbourhood. David gave us some great local recommendations for food and activities, and even kindly leant us their ‘Florida snow shovel’ to search for shark teeth on the beach. The RV space was flat and easy to park in, and the hookups were easy to access. If we weren’t visiting from Australia, we would definitely be back in a heartbeat!

Incredible location and hosts. David and Brenda welcomed us and made sure we were comfortable with the amenities. They have a nice space that accommodated our 28’ trailer and F250. If you are a novice you may need assistance in order to safely avoid the drainage pipe and ditch -We took advantage of the quiet neighborhood as well as Shamrock Park. If you love to bike ride, play tennis, basketball, or have children this park has it all; including awesome hiking! To top off our stay David and Brenda gave us some delish fresh caught fish! Thank for an incredible stay.

Venice Two Tall Pines RV campsite
Dave and Brenda are fantastic, and they had so many great suggestions and resources for exploring the local area! From food to sight-seeing, we really enjoyed the trip, and their home was a great centralized location. I'd love to give a 5-star review, but we did have issues with ants (Florida problems) in their yard as well as plants with burrs in the ditches around the block. At one point, we pulled over 200 of them out of our dogs fur from one potty break. This isn't a fault of Dave and Brenda, but it did impact our overall experience at their home.
Parking was smooth and the neighborhood was super quiet other than a small local airport with personal planes flying - they were super fascinating, actually, and only flew during daylight hours!

We've stayed at other hip camps before, but this was the first one with electricity, and boy did we love it. We have a 27 foot fifth wheel that we were able to park nicely. See pictures. Very quiet, fire ring n picnic table on site Our hosts were Very friendly n Helpful. We would definitely use campsite again if ever we're in the Traverse City area again. Speaking of the area. That was one of the nicest things. We were close. To Traverse City and all its fun, but far enough away to not be in the midst of all the traffic all the time. So location, location, location.

There is so much to rave about so sit down and stay for a minute. From the day I booked all the way through our stay, David was extraordinarily kind and communicative. He checked in with us a couple times during our stay, each time making sure we had everything we needed and being a 12/10 host in general. The kindest people and the type of folks I want my money going to.
The land was amazing. Tucked away in the back corner of a sandy pine lot, it felt extremely private and spacious. They provided a fire ring and picnic table that we loved. We were able to bike to downtown multiple days as they’re land is only 4-5 miles away. Access is extremely easy and made our stay better in every way. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.

This was a nice place to camp for a few nights. We had activities that kept us away from the site for most of the days we camped, but this spot served well for the nights. David helped us back into the spot, provided the water and 30A electric hook ups. The site is spacious enough and there is reasonable privacy even though it is the front yard of the house.
We did walk to the nearby park one day, but never found a beach. The site is not far from Hwy 41, but far enough not to hear it. I would recommend the site to anyone in the area for a short stay.

Omg what can I say!! Dave & Brenda were amazing hosts..the place is a great place to be for a few days..with Shamrock park right down the street..bring your bikes ..go for a walk...breath the fresh air..wonderful...residential safe area...had a great time..the beach is not far and downtown is really nice

Flat and ample parking. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Privacy over looking 3 different coloured blooming Hibiscus. Quiet neighborhood and felt secluded. Had everything we needed except wifi and septic. We have an Airstream so no problem. We would stay there again

We highly recommend Venice Two Tall Pines. David and Brenda are a delightful couple who warmly welcomed us at our arrival. They explained the amenities of the site, made recommendations of some beaches, and gave us some area brochures. The rv site was cozy, quiet, and private. The door of our trailer faced away from the house, and toward a grassy side yard, bordered by a fence with cute lights twinkling during the night. The location was wonderfully convenient to the beaches and shopping. And then too, I enjoyed our text messaging before and after our stay. Thank you Brenda and David!

Nice little place to park! We enjoyed meeting David and Brenda. They made us feel very welcome and had electric & water hookup ready for easy connection. They even loaned us their basket rake to look for shark teeth! We never had seen any before!! Thanks for everything!!
